Who actually wants these kind of apex legends skins in their battlefield game?Who makes these calls? Not only is the entire game a total mess from release, no one likes the what the gameplay have turned in to either.What makes whoever is in charge think these kind of skins will help the game to survive? No battlefield fan wants this stuff in their battlefield game.Am i alone or do we all feel like this?Atleast when i saw these latest skins i finnaly decided to uninstall and never come back to 2042, ive officialy lost all hope for a comeback. The specialists to me are less of a problem in themself compared to how the game is gonna look when i play it when / if everyone runs around with cartoon skins.I think they did us wrong by marketing this game this way, i cant see how this is the game between bf4 and 2142 in anyway. You are not alone, and yes we know we don't have to use them, but it just looks like the FRANCHISE I love is going down a path that I doubt I will be going down. I tried Apex, its not my cup of tea, I have played COD, again, not my cup of tea......I chose battlefield because it was different, more realistic, not quirky, and now this......all I can do is shake my head. : (

@X-Sunslayer-X its a dealbraker for me when the tone of the franchise do a total 180 yes, as in even if they fix the technical stuff, it will still not be what im looking for in a battlefield game. The skins tells me what their vision is for the future and since they are otherwise radio silent nothing else gives me any better clues currently. I dont think that warrents me to never touch new games at all, it just tells me Dice no longer makes battlefield games.

@Psubond for being a smartass ur not verry bright, the post is to tell Dice / EA this is not what we want and tell them why they are losin us. If we dont post about it, how can we have change? I think reddit rants are not enough even if there are 1000 posts like it. Im not telling you as a player, if i wanted to do that i would pm random users.

will i unlock them? if its trough normal gameplay, sure
2042 is a big departure from what most would say BF is and i am pretty sure if you showed BF3 next to 2042 most people would not think they were done by the same studio...
EA will always push their IPs to where the most money can be made at as little cost as possible that is just how it is and unless EA does a reevaluation of it DICE sadly must follow their direction... if EA says make cosmetic microtransaction in your next game there is not really a lot they can do....
while the technical side is more or less all up to them

@X-Sunslayer-X no need for the "again or the ...." i never tried to argue your point, i 100% accept your personal stance on the matter. U said "if its a dealbraker to me" and i just answered yes, and stated why.

Technically bf3 and 2042 are not made by the same people, you are correct.

Yes this could be the case about why the skins, what i have a problem with is not skins, its the tone of the skins and what they do to the game, how they not fit the supposed narrative of the game or battlefield as a franchise. The specialists to me are less of a problem in themself compared to how the game is gonna look when i play it when / if everyone runs around with cartoon skins.

@Dedzigs i actually learned code after getting my amateur extra license but that was after i already had the skin. would have been nice to be able to decode it at the time with no app or help

@Hori-Si-Tsun mate this is a cross promotion between Amazon Prime and EA for Battlefield 2042.

The colour scheme is related to the base colours of Twitch if you do some research, you will see that RB6 Siege, Valorant, Fortnite and so on had similar colour schemed skins.

In addition, it seems to me that this topic is only pretended to negate again against the game.

If you don’t like the skins don’t use them, they don’t influence the gameplay at all. If you not willing to wait for patches and content that is your decission.

Also, I’m a BF fan and I think this skin is ok and I don’t mind if they will bring more skins later on or even in the store. (If so, nobody is forced to buy them 😉)

@CountSero i have 0 problems with skins in the game, or any mtx, its the tone of the skins not fitting the franchise or the tone of the game i have issues with. Mind you this is the game thats supposed to fill the gap between bf4 and 2142. I just dont like the thought of playing battlefield with cartoons instead of soldiers / mercs

@Hori-Si-Tsun could be that down the line they shoehorn this as an offshoot like Hardline/Bad Company...
since neither EA nor DICE really allows anyone to look into their cards we are left waiting until the 1st of February
maybe some investors are going to ask EA what the hell happened...
but then again EA timed their announcement for 3 new Star Wars game perfectly to put more attention to these games and skim by on BS-ing their way out of talking too much about 2042...

i liked COD: modern warfare when it came out. i didn't like the games after that so i didn't play them. you know what else i didn't do? i didn't go to COD forums and argue with people about how much i don't like the games or why i don't like the games. at least the people who make the argument that they're trying to improve the game and could possibly come back if it is changed have that. i don't understand the people who said they are uninstalling and and quitting forever but continue to dump on the game on the forum.

@Psubond if u want change, u need to tell what u want changed, ive not argued anyones standpoint, ive just argued my own.

I dont want the next game to go down the same path, alot of others feel the same, if we dont collectivly say so, it wont happen.
