Community - bring back the class system

@Prep768 Exactly this, been saying this many times so far, following a very small group of forum moaners won't help. Just like everyone was literally crying about VoIP and now no one uses it at all.
Class system is fine, you even allowed to pick any weapon from pool.

- @sgtPoulton falck will no longer be able to do her job properly because she will be surrounded by a lot of armored vehicles that want to wipe her. falck will have to be followed by at least two engineers to do her job properly, but those engineers will never be around..
Assault and Recon also have C5
Rao can disable vehicles and designate them.
Sundance can still fire homing grenades at the vehicles.
Mackay can still zipline on top of vehicles or something above the vehicle.
If a vehicle is having a field day in spite of everything, it is the other team that is not responding appropriately.
- @murdocklawless Smoke is way more effective than M5's. Lob a couple at a tank and watch how many Mckay's go web slinging into action with C5.
I think what you really miss is self healing tank exploder guy, and fair enough 👍
But in regards to the Medic class we actually became a lot more useful now we have to do our job to interact fully with the game - @BFB-Praetorian teamwork is absolutely necessary to play as falck, but I have never come across anyone who plays this game with teamwork. Without teamwork, falck will be a open target for otherside.
can't play a game that isn't populated though. the people that were attracted to the versatility of specialists over classes are leaving now. it WAS a fun game. now its nearly unplayable and not at all what was advertised. its a worse off BFV.
- @SuctionXCupXMan Lack of players is more due to lack of content imo 14 week game pass, only a handful of decent maps. There's not enough content to keep players interested

@Psubond people might not be playing due to the changes, but the player count has gone up according to steam since the patch.
I would generally attribute that more to the reworked version of Breakaway, but in any case the number of players hasn't decreased since the patch, it has gone up.

i never said the total player count dipped. i said a lot of people who used to like how the game was aren't playing as much as they were (at least in my case). time will tell if the game retains the people who came to check out what the game is like now.
i don't think it is likely that the people who have been playing since launch and who have decided they don't like how the game plays now will return. like i said, time will tell if locking gadgets (again, not a class update because weapons aren't locked) will result in a net gain or net loss of players
I have gone over to the dark side (that other game ) for the time being as I have finished the S3 BP and awaiting S4. I just cant bring myself to play the game right now. I feel obligated to finish out the each seasons BP as I paid for the gold edition.

i started a new project in my lab. making a custom controller for our christmas tree lights. was using an arduino nano but i'm switching to an esp32 board (not a dev board, just using a wroom32 on a custom pcb) so i can control it with my phone. i'll come back for season 4 and see how the game feels. not playing till then though

That other game....let's call it "Call of Duty" isn't dark, it's different...not dark...lol. Some like it...some don't..each his/her own. 😉
