@nukemetohell I understand the frustration of some, sure that little thing you like to do might not be possible atm but I would argue it shouldn't have been in the first place. It's a balsy move to change a game this much so late in the game but it also kinda makes sense. Game has been out a while but it has also seen some big changes in management and devs, the game was basically in a weird stage for a long time and just feels like they are just looking at it as if it's a new release or a reboot.
I did the whole Angel + loadout crate + FXM33 at the start of the game but that's just such poor game design it's ridiculous if you think about it. Why have limited ammo in the first place if it's so easy to overcome.

Why? Because it's fun, and that's what a game's supposed to be. This is not a 100% accurate war simulation, it's a game, or have you ever seen a real fighter pilot ejecting his seat and shooting another plane with a bazooka? They should've made this a game mode for those of you who like it, not the default way of playing. They could at least offer a refund, because this is a different game now, it's not what I bought or wanted.
People need to understand a thing: battlefield class system is a main thing of the entire franchise. A basic trait. If you don't like this, isn't the game for you.

So this is the official whine thread regarding classes 👍 the anti-class brigade was always going to hate this update regardless of how it went so may as well sticky it and let it run it's course

It is/was a main Battlefield thing, not all of us liked it though. The freedom we had before the update was something however that a lot of players valued, finally we could play Battlefield as we liked. As I stated before, the class system should have been a separate game mode. It's cool if you like it, but why force it on us?

i've been playing since battlefield 2 and have over 650 hours in game (2042). do i meet your qualifications to chime in? (don't really care if i don't)
this is the 2042 forum. this game was fundamentally changed. you need to understand that this is a different game from launch. the game that was in the beta, that we paid money for (i paid 100 bucks) has been fundamentally changed and the way we have been playing since launch has been destroyed and i agree with the OP. between the half measure classes (that didn't get rid of specialists) to the kick in the nuts with the controller layout change, this update is trash
