Was 2042 your first Battlefield game?
If that is the case, then I can understand your frustration for the classes.
But from the PoV of those who have associated some gameplay features as part of the Battlefield brand, this is a (very late) attempt to course correct.

Referring to me? Was it because Novice tag forum or whining about 2042?
I played since BF4 when I finally could afford strong PC and comfortable internet, I left out BF3 because I played on peasantry console with dial up internet.
For years I've been through bad netcode BF4, horrible TTK BF1 and attrition in BFV, I can assure you I'll survive dreadful class in BF2042.
