I certanly will not pre order and will only buy once reports have come through after release. If reports are bad then it stays in the store.
This will be the first time since BF 2 Modern Combat where I do not pre order BF.
Not me!! the game was broken for a year.
They then have the cheek to ask premium buyers to pay for some extra seasons after the bug filled lazy game was released whilst they sat there smiling taking money.
If next one is any good will wait at least 18 months before buying it cheaply.
Any other business and the way they released the game knowing it was broken they would have had to refund everyone.
I would not trust dice/ea at all, blatant liars on release as we all saw.
Hopefully we all remember and we do not fall for the sponsered recommened reviews that are bound to be massive with next release.

For me, no pre order battlefield because Dice and EA are liars and take the players for idiots. Dice and EA, to make beautiful promises they are very strong.
We are a Premium player on this battlefield 2042 and we still have to pay for new seasons.
With the battlefield license they had gold in their hands, they managed to destroy everything. Geniuses.
Goodness, no. Three flops in a row and a freeware anti cheat. Everything about this franchise and it's developers scream Minimal Viable Product and i'm just not interested in the same dance routine every time I buy a Dice Sweden game.

With every update they have lessened the enjoyment of everything in the game.
I feel as though they’ve been watching what I’ve been doing and hitting every component that gives me fun.
I really enjoy the game but it now gets me very angry and frustrated whilst playing it.

I'm sure this was the last Battlefield game I will buy after 15 years playing the franchise. I'm absolutely dissapointed on what it became. This version of the game have so many missing things to make it nicely and satisfactory playable (like server browser or decent in-game squad management for example).
There are so many bugs and problems since the very first day and they still haven't fixed. Besides, EA/DICE had proven an absolute disrespect for players and for what they report about problems and needs.
Personally, I'm just looking and trying other games to play when this scam of BF2042 arrives to an end. And if I don't find anything I like I can always play BF4 wich I think still so far the best of all the BF franchise.

It depends - do they have cheat protect in game or not. That is top priority - if not - no buy. I dont care if is unable to stop 100 % - just that there are and it stops some.
BF1 and 5 was a huge mistake not to have any. I do like this game now - all though it took very long to fix - now vs launch day.
But I will not pre-order will wait and see - and then most likely buy.
