I've been testing the Night bird out since the Nerf and my god is it Terrible now. The 20 mm cannons are so weak it feels like I'm spraying my target with a water gun. On top of the all of the Anti Air in the game is overpowered as hell. The EBAA Wildcat and the FXM-33 AA Missile are completely overpowered making the Night bird even worse. You know what EA/Dice I will no longer be supporting your terrible games and I'll be sure to cancel my EA/Origin subscription ASAP. Until you fix what you ruined with this game the ridiculous imbalances that you have now caused I will no longer be buying or supporting any of your game's from now on, TOODALOO AND GOOD RIDDANCE!

@Anonymou88 clearly we need nuclear warhead rockets for the nightbird as an upgrade to the Hydra launcher. that way when you make a fly-by you leave lingering radiation that instantly kills anyone that gets too close, and since its radiation you need to wait for DICE to implement a Gaiga-counter until then you just fall over dead to make it more fair and enjoyable for pilots because they clearly are not strong enough yet......man you clearly only play vehicles in BF.... World of tanks too difficult for you?

Even with a gunner I could´ve actually make it. I skipped the part in between I get the Little Bird again and beside that one death, I never died to anything on the map.

@Anonymou88 first the Wildcat Thread, the FXM-33 and now the Nightbird threadmate here are many voices and also a video proof that the Nightbird is still powerful since patch #2as I wrote in another thread try to play the objective as an infantry for straight 5h than we can talk about the weakness of the Nightbird again^^See you on the Battlefield^^

@Anonymou88 Considering how rare the 20mm was, I think the nerf on them was unwarranted.
The miniguns were the ones ripping aircraft appart

You are nothing to me keep talking like you know anything. How about you post some video up of you as a night bird pilot and I'll post mine so we can actually compare. I know you won't though because you're all talk with nothing to back it up kid.

Nerfing things is a lazy option. Instead of balancing other things to counter something they make something unplayable

@UP_Hawxxeye I think the Miniguns are fine. Since you have to actually aim to kill infantry, unlike to rely on the splash damage on the 20mm, which was already pre-nerf terrible. The anti-infantry rockets are the real problem on this bird.

@Anonymou88 Nightbird with AGM is kinda a big threat to EBAA Wildcats (and any other vehicle) if they aren't constantly watching out for you. Sure the 20mm cannons feel a bit weaker but I don't think that the Nightbird has been nerfed into oblivion. Still good against infantry with its rocket pod and still absolutely strong against ground vehicles with the AGM. Also the mobility saves you easily from AA rockets / lock-on on most maps.

It has been nerfed into oblivion. The only thing working decently on it now is the 70mm Anti Personnel Rocket's but you have to get so much closer it seems to actually get kills.
