As it stands now, the Nightbird can too easily solo any tank. It's AGM reloads way faster than a Jet and replenishes just as fast. This should be halved.Only the attack Heli should have that kind of firepower within that kind of time span, which it currently does. @Man_iLoveFishing They may as well be 30MM as they do that kind of damage.Most Nightbird pilots run the miniguns instead, and those miniguns absolutely shred every single other aircraft, even Jets because of their pinpoint accuracy.Jets are far, far more balanced than the Nightbird.Jets are constantly challenged by other Jets and the enemy AA, the same absolutely cannot be said about the Nightbird.You can seldom track the Nightbird with the Jet's miniguns due its crazy agility, its maneuverability makes it easy to evade lock ons. And that's when the Nightbird's OP pinpoint accuracy shows when it simply turns and shreds Jets with its miniguns, the only way to combat this is to fly directly above it and hope the Pilot crashes. Not to mention the bug that lets it dodge locked on missiles whilst not even being below radar. There's no skill involved.With the Jet and the 30MM at least there's skill involved. You have to literally time your dives, dive at the wrong time and you're literally toast. But again, the Jet's 30MM is absolutely garbage, there is no scenario where you would take it over the 25MM.The Nightbird is a broken, buggy vehicle and it needs to be fixed. @S3SSioN_SoL As for the damage to vehicles by the Nightbird helicopter, I completely agree with the author. Nightbird has a very serious KilTime for destroying ground vehicles. Destroying an anti-aircraft gun by practically going into its forehead does not pose any problem when you have a heavy machine gun and AGM in your arsenal.To be honest, in most cases I try to take an attack helicopter, if I take Nightbird, I practically don’t die for the whole game and get over 30 frags. My greed says that let everything remain as it is, but somewhere deep in myself I realize that this should not be so.

They should have left it in the Transport slot and then they could have reduced the ammo count on the AGM to 1 so that you could make some contributions and had some defensive capability, but were still orientated towards transport duties.Since that would be tantamount to admitting they made a mistake an they're not fond of doing that I doubt that will happen. Right now I think the best thing they can do is remove the ability for it to dodge vehicle fired AA missiles. If they do that and fix Below Radar, on remove passenger seat repairs then their damage output will be justified.

@S3SSioN_SoL Well we almost agree. Attack chopper should not have fast loading AGMs either and I'm surprised you haven't met a stealth with AGMs yet who will mess you up quicker than a nightbird thanks to bombs AND AGMs!!!

Anyway you're the first person I've seen mention AGM issue with choppers apart from me.

I've been banging on about it since the game launched, but because no one else has, Dice continue to ignore the issue.

It's complete and utter "you know what".

@Tank2042Man Additionally, enough people complained about the fast loading AGMs on jets at launch as they farmed every ground vehicle on the map with ease and Dice fixed it.

Result, no more easy jet AGMs kills.

I also think the problem with choppers and AGMs is a much bigger issue on 64 player conquest which may explain why there's been no call from the community to fix the issue on 128.

I notice on 128 conquest choppers have twice as many threats to worry about and cannot hang around too long around the ground vehicle they are targeting.

Contrary to how I thought conquest tanking would play out, surviving and killing in a tank is far easier to do on 128 than it is on 64.

Tanks have thermal smokes and aps + irish sentinel aps. If you die to a nightbird agm, its on you. (being alone or don't know what to do). And jets have fast rate 30mm + agm that can kill in one run, especially now with pitching fix.

And for heatseekers or air radar, im glad that i can dodge them, cause its cheesy cheap killing.

I'm a good jet pilot but only a decent/newbie nightbird pilot and must say that it is far easier to destroy tanks with nightbirds (especially if the 20mm cannons are equipped). Also, I feel that the jet's 30 mm is too much of a compromise (not very effective against small fast moving targets)
Not complaining tho, I've been using the nightbird more recently to bully TOR and wildcat users

@Man_iLoveFishing I hate imbalanced or broken game mechanics. Such as what were the Jets which are now balanced against each other. Jets can't destroy a tank in 2 strafes, a Nightbird can in 1 flyby, that's broken. There's only one Helicopter that should have that kind of power and it's the Attack Heli in my opinion.

Also, you shouldn't be glad that you're exploiting a bug. Bugs like this is why air vehicles get nerfed into the ground.

@S3SSioN_SoLIt's not one fly by. It takes 4 agms to destroy a tank. And if tank has thermal and aps, fight will last for 3 minutes or even longer and that's only cause tanks is alone camping somewhere.

@Man_iLoveFishing Any competent pilot will bait out the APS. The 30MM Guns do a lot of damage in the mean time. The reload speed is way too fast so 4 AGM's is nothing. And it is 1 flyby, I literally did it myself.
