@SirBobdkI also hope Dice come with a solution, one that benefits most ( hopefully all) of us. I know its hard to please us all, but if they start to adress the big issues people have it might bring a turnaround to this decreas. Put out a roadmap, so we know which direction we going. now it feels to me like driving in a forrest with no lights, waiting to hit a tree. And i think a roadmap will lower the so called assumptions.Absolutely. It will definitely help.

Agreed, a roadmap is exactly what BF2042 needs to stop all the uncertainty.
@ExxtractWell i have look up playtime average of my 200 + origin friends and platoon members for BF3 and BF4 there was no " origin charts " but one thing sure less than 10% of my friendlist had more than 50 hours played and the vast majority had from 25 to 45 hours total played and about 30% with less than 8 hours so its pretty sure that Bf3 and especially bf4 had huge players losses in few weeks or months after launch ... in these days only games that offer live services or moddable contents end up being played a lot ...The current BFV numbers is boosted by the Asian market only and is irrevelant for NA market

True, but The EU numbers are also quit high and increasing. - @SirBobdk Yet North america BFV numbers were abysal not long ago and still are low ish .. Considering World war games attrack a very elitist type of players who mostly like only " World war " theme games or at least not modern or futuristic games ... So yeah ..
BF2042 considering PS5 , Xbox , epic game , Ea access , Origin+ EA desktop and Steam we are looking at a potential of minimum 30k to 50k concurents its still half a million + individual players ...
ive watch my friends and platoon members over 200+ average game time a lot played less than 8 hours for bf3 and less than 4 hours for bf4 ...Yet they bought the game
North american numbers for BF2042 are good because i always gets 20 to 30 ping conquest servers whithin 15 secs or less of matchmaking between 16h to 3am EST ...
the game is not doing amasing because of negative talk review bombs etc.. Technical issues for some and so on ..
But the devs need to beleive in their game and just fix it polish it expand on it and numbers will eventually goes up by a lots - Kyosji4 years agoSeasoned Ace@Hidios ....10 times? where's your source on that? Don't post false information that can discredit you :/
- Kyosji4 years agoSeasoned Ace@ZarkullenO_O Would like to point out that no one likes buying games off of origin either, because of their * EULA when it comes to refunds and communication. It drives people insane to the point they want to do charge backs cause they feel stolen from, in which, per EA policy, they ban your entire account and any game you've bought on it. Have $3k worth of games on your account? Not anymore! Now you have to rebuy and reprogress in all of them!!
EA is NOT a good company to buy directly from. - Kyosji4 years agoSeasoned Ace@afzSnickelfritz It does give a general baseline. Hard to assume the only people quitting are people that own the game through steam. It's reasonable that the player drop percentage that steam shows would reflect nearly as equal on other platforms, especially a PC platform.
- Kyosji4 years agoSeasoned Ace@SirBobdk The problem is that they advertised the game originally as a game for battlefield players, and along the line they wanted to jump on the BR bandwagon. From there it became a Battlefield game that was not MADE for Battlefield fans...and they forgot to be clear on that. This game could have been released as a different game title, and it probably would have been a half decent release, but slapping the Battlefield name on it and trying to appeal to classic Battlefield fans while not making a true Battlefield game, they earned the ire of the fans they swindled.
