@Stew360yes, BF4 was much more broken in terms of gameplay bugs than BF2042.
The main problem with BF2042 in comparison to BF4 is less launch content along with the "legacy features".BF2042 also needs a clusterflak map to accommodate the audience they started targeting since BF3
- @Tronald0_78 50k concurent players isnt the same as total players .. Average gamers play from 1 to 3 hours a day an average of 2 hours for most so anything between 40k and 50k concurent players if stable trough the 24 hours cycle means about 600k individual account play the game in a week ...
thats said on steam only there is over 60k to 80k individual players who play 2042 in a week ..
its nit amasing but its ok adding origin Eadesktop , epicgames into the mixe only on pc there is a potential 180 to 200k individual players who play every weeks ..
For sure this aint Apex legends 150k to 250k+ concurents on steam only wich mean millions of individual players but still BF2042 is nor abysal either it has some players troughout the day - @UP_Hawxxeye Bf2042 regardless of the ignorant comments is more like BF2 that it is like BF3 ..But the metro 24/7 Have taken over this " community " who want to fight only in infantry and disregard air and ground vehicles and call everything OP while they wouldn't last 3 sec without getting blow up ..
Basically we have a COD community who want BF to be cod while pretending they hate COD lol

Besides the usual bugs we only had crashes when the Tower at Siege of Shanghai was brought down. And then I was of course annoyed by the Active Rader that made planes and choppers flip over.

BF2042 is more like BF2 that it is like BF3

Also what I see.
Replace specialists with classes and it looks more like BF2 than any BF game after.
Is this about map size, vehicles and specialists.
But still I think they have removed many good things from previous BF games, but retained sliding lol. @Stew360For me even BF2042 is doing a huge disservice to vehicles overall (with the exception of helicopters).
I have started BF games with BF3 and I have never before had a worse experience while using (ground) vehicles myself ☹️
So I am using infantry in BF2042 much less than before between the many woes of a ground vehicle and the multiple respawn timers. T_T

Im guessing the game is still selling, eiter that or players who quit early on are starting to come back for what ever reason.
I think them beeing new players sounds more plausible, as people who quit early wouldn't have had any real reason to come back at this point (Nothing has really changed yet as far as the gameplay)- @Stew360 See, oddly enough, I played the entirety of the BF4 launch, and I wasn't so disappointed in it, unlike this release. BF4 had a slow build up, but was still playable and enjoyable, minus the netcode. It had it's issues, but I never saw it as bad as everyone keeps complaining about on the forums. Comparing my experiences with BF4 and this launch, this one, to me, is hands down worst. This game it feels like I'm forcing myself to play to get my moneys worth.
