The old scoreboard
Please bring back the old scoreboard showing kills, deaths, score, ping etc of all people in the server. The new one is too messy, unclear and doesn't show me useful information or just too little in...

I heard that there will be no traditional scoreboard! We won't be able to see our kills deaths! Our points! We won't be able to see who's top on the score board and how we ranked among the 128 players or within our team!
Is this true?
- @DaizerNation Only a handful of people would be able to confirm or deny your fears... I think it is unlikely to be true, but I cannot point to anything other than precedent and hope.

Can these guys quantify why they might say say the quotes below? Is this thread discussing someone's guess or something real? @carsono311 is right.... what do the guys below know what we don't?@DaizerNation

I watched a live feed this evening and he showed the scores, I saw deaths, kills scores...so not sure since I haven't played yet but something was there with.skull ??

One of the big no-go's is if we have no visibility nor any control on far out of region players joining into our local game servers!
The main reason for bullet sponging and rubberbanding in the BF game.
We absolutely need to insist to have the scoreboard with the ping information for each player on the server!
There will be a specialist who can show the scoreboard
- @DaizerNation During the beta, in game during the round, you could press TAB (i think) see the squads and the players, but i am unsure if you could see much other information.

There is a "Scoreboard" but it's not a tradional one if you look close. That what we saw on the "Open beta" showed your stats and the stats of your Squad and that is great. You don't need to know how "other players" are playing, as long as you and your squad is doing well. If the tickets fall very fast you also know that your Team is playing really weak so you don't need a "Scoreboard" neither. A Scoreboard to detect cheaters? Well by a "180-0" you are right, this seems very obvious however just because someone is playing 78-1 or 86-3 or even 68-0 doesn't mean the person is cheating, so people who doesn't know to play well will report the player who are playing that "stats" and report them falsely. A Scoreboard is nice, specially when you play with friends however I am also glad that DICE is brave enough to change the formula for the Scoreboard, I can't wait to see how it will look 1 year after release, if a few routines/guides/metas are available and if the new Scoreboard will actually help to improve "PTFO" more or not.
- @CloudMcRip I didn't get a chance to play beta but if this is the new setup sounds great. I agree keeping it to your squad is great, maybe show squad rank on pts might be a good step too but hey I welcome new concepts.
For me the real push is get rid of the K/D stat....that is what really destroys team play. Focus should be on points, most importantly squad points and role points.- @VBALL_MVP Actually, now you mention it, I seem to recall there was a lot off talk in the 'community' about removing the scoreboard to try to reduce the harmful pursuit of KD.

Scoreboard does not mean much to me.
I play to have fun.My position or stats on the scoreboard does not matter in that sense.
Nor does the stats of others.

@SAMURI_FAP People who don't like a Scoreboard don't have to open and watch it, so easy is it!
But most of us still want one. And just because of a minority dislikes is, it's no reason to remove it from all of us!- @DragonAlex1 Nothing the portal can’t fix right?
- @SAMURI_FAP Except it's not going to help with PFTO. The only thing it will do is mask who is NOT PTFO. It's obvious the scoreboard in the Beta was built for Hazard Zone which is fine for that mode. But for conquest and breakthrough we need something like the traditional scoreboard. Just yet another thing that has defined the series for so long being stripped away.
My mind is blown that something so basic, games like Quake MP way back when had a simple scoring board. I cant recall a single person i know who never uses it. While team play is important, its also fun to be up on top of the rankings with some kills. So a quick tab is always and has always been part of any sort of competitive game ive played. Who wouldn't want one? It makes no sense.

As on consoles we do not have other options as far as I know of?
That is what I read on all Websites on the game. Seems EA is not considering a scoreboard. For me I will wait before buying this game to see if there is a scoreboard. Another thing is there are no RTX 3000 NVIDIA Videocards available in stores. So I guess, I will be waiting for RTX 3000 availability at reasonable prices before considering buying this game since I want the full video experience... Wonder why EA backs NVDIA since there are no videocards available on the market???
- @MerlinX38 same, I'm not that bothered about a scoreboard but if they think i'm going to play an FPS without one they can think again, its a basic feature that should be there by default.

I could say the same.... because all Clues till now say there is no Scoreboard!
But the Reality is, NO ONE HERE knows it rly, till there is no official answer or footage to this yet!@DragonAlex1Yes there was! It was a bit confusing and rubbish but there was an ingame scoreboard of sorts in the Beta.
