@CyberDymePerhaps you might want to change the "we need" to "I want" and even then....
Of course a scoreboard as shown is 'nice' to have but not essential to everyone's enjoyment of the game.
Sure @Trokey66 - DONE! Despite we could pull the binary identity out of the bag and insist to keep 'we need' as the rightful phrase for us to use no matter. 😎
Some players may enjoy to play with high pinging lagging bullet sponges, so for them it is not important to have visibility to such info for the server admins to keep the servers playable. For me/us, it is however a reoccurring annoyance to play with extreme high pingers on our European servers. Hence my plea, can we please get the scoreboard with the pings listed.
I ran a thread some months back asking what our fellow BF gamers considered a reasonable ping to connect and play the BF game at, and what they considered what a reasonable max ping limit should be. Now probably because the PC players have had this visibility and even the ability to hardcode the acceptable max ping into their server parameters in the past, then the PC players mainly honed in on just 80-100milli seconds as the absolute top ping range for acceptable. While the console players allowed a bit higher range, up to like 130-140ms for the most part. But reality is that we in recent years on consoles have seen a huge influx of far out of region players even abusing the poor game mechanics, despite resulting in totally flooding the server with lag, missing hit registrations and server crashes.
Based on that, the PC players will be horrified by the resulting lagging gameplay and hit registration if now starting to crossplay with consoles, especially if there are no reasonable max limits set. And if we have no visibility, do you think EA will actually set up sufficient servers worlds wide?
I for one would want visibility and transparency on this!
