Please bring back the old scoreboard showing kills, deaths, score, ping etc of all people in the server. The new one is too messy, unclear and doesn't show me useful information or just too little in...
Just curious. I never played BF 1942, but am I right thinking that was the last time bots were in the game? What did the scoreboard look like? Did it include bot scores? Can't find a pic of it on Google.

Got it....
All bots are shown. I'm still convinced that Dice cannot afford to reveal AI performance like here. Can you imagine the fuss there will be on this forum and others when AI dominates or underperforms. I've said it a few times, but seems like that no-one else thinks this might be a valid point.
@lzilchetl I believe bots were only in "offline mode" in Refractor games and not in the regular multiplayer. I should reinstall GameRanger and join an active server to verify.

As the last poster points out... hardly seems worth it given how close the launch is. Yes, see the bots were only offline mode. Although I will miss the scoreboard if it does not make the game, its not a deal breaker is it? just think that folk are more focussed in their own needs and are blind to the more general dependencies that might impact design decisions. Can't see scoreboards that reveal AI scores happening. But we'll see.

It would actually be very very helpful to Portal Game Creators if we/admin team at least had access to the full scoreboard, especially the ping rate for all connected players! As we absolutely need to have a tool to weed out the high pingers causing server lag, rubber banding, bullet sponging.
Next, I would still also vote to get the AI soldier scores on the scoreboard. How otherwise are we to figure out how best to utilize them? Meaning if we see that they constantly are too stupid to be of any use in the game, then we need to boost their IQ level in our server settings. Same as well if we see they go full T-1000 Rambo style and eradicate all human enemy players again and again, then we need to turn down their competency level just a bit.
We also need it matter of fact to throttle how many AI soldiers we truly should allow on and how many we factually have on our server at any given point of time. As personally I would favor running my own servers with as many real human players as possible and only use the AI soldiers to get it kickstarted from when empty. But we need then the visibility to the scoreboard to see how many we have live on the server. Again also to finetune our server settings to facilitate server startup but also to eliminate the AI soldiers as soon as we can please.
@Trokey66 Knowing Dice we'll probably get something like the random list of players we got with BF1 from which it was tedious to find a specific player.
@locked_n_cocked 100%, i also like how the new scoreboard shows your squads position, because isn't that what everyone always wants? good squad play rather than solo cod style focus.
@locked_n_cocked That makes no sense. These games should be fun yeah but they are also a competition. Watch ANY streamer and see how many times they hit tab to see where the game stands. This isn't a new function. Its the oldest elements of games. PONG had it. The squad screen is nice but doesn't help at a quick glance unlike the scoreboard. Have you not played BF 3,4 or 1,V? I wanna have fun like the next guy but part of the fun having done well in the match. Jesus...
@Trokey66 Listen, you really starting to go on my nerves with your bs.
Its PONG btw - it had the score up top. Basic yeah. So what? Streamer are what problem? What are you yapping about? why are you ANTI what people want? If you dont care - why dont you post something else you care about. you're at this point trolling. Streamers was an example as to people do use the SB in all past BF games. Jesus. LAY OFF
@BuzzfunkYou are suggesting that even pong had a full and detailed scoreboard, even more so than the Beta and that is clear Gentleman's dangly bits.
Streamers chase KD, that is all they do and chasing KD is a 'problem' in objective based games.
And lastly, I am not "ANTI what people want", I'm anti complete Gentleman's dangly bits arguments used and quite frankly that is all we are seeing, the constant yapping of "but pong had a scoreboard...." is one such example.
To coin a phrase, Jesus Lay off.
Oh, and your 'pong scoreboard' was above the mini map in the Beta.
@EA_Atic That's what i said from the get go yet this dude keeps on punching his "opinion" into everyone's face that a scoreboard is "useless" anyways. Its not.
@Frandaero You know now the reason, why they did this... Because they would know many would not buy a Battlefield without a Scoreboard... They just wanted to hide this fact... Just like they want to hide many problems with this decision to remove the Scoreboard!
Don't get me wrong, I'm not a fan of streamers deciding what happens in games for the rest of us or anything, but this decision really is an interesting one on that front.
Most streamers have ego's and like to show off their scores to the viewers and likewise the viewers like to see how their streamer is doing, i can see this really putting them off playing this to promote it. What is interesting is it's obvious EA want a massive game that is at the top of the stream charts (i guess they have apex up there from time to time) so why this decision was made i have no idea.
@Shyol1 If you see Tom Hendersons latest video he states that the guys responsible for the UI left while in development. So another team was hired to finish the UI, maybe that's why it's missing. Alot of devs left while the game was in development due to lack of creative freedom, some say.
