The old scoreboard
Please bring back the old scoreboard showing kills, deaths, score, ping etc of all people in the server. The new one is too messy, unclear and doesn't show me useful information or just too little in...

@BtheReaper49 you missed my point. That is what I was stating, having a simple scoreboard (not one with K/D and other stuff) can be helpful, but anything beyond that is just useless.
@VBALL_MVP Why would a SB without KD and points be..useless? Every last BF game had one. For a reason.
If anything, the scoreboard should had been expanded to include the many other ways people contributed to their team.
We who repair, heal, resupply and spot for our team are still not getting our due.
A player tho has revived allies 30 times deserves as much recognition as someone who has killed 30 times.
@UP_Hawxxeye Well they do, because how the Name says it is a SCORE-Board and not a K/D Board. There are often People with a bad K/D on top of the SCORE-Board because of this reasons!
@BuzzfunkAs stated before, not all BF titles had KD. Why do you keep referencing that I am stating no points. I said a simple scoreboard, so points would be on there, hence it would no longer be a scoreboard. Since the game is about PTFOing, you want to showcase those who are play the game properly, so having anything more than a score is useless since it doesn't focus on the main objective.

I think this sentence illustrates the problem that EA may be wanting to resolve.
What exactly is a bad K/D ratio? What assumptions do you make about a player with a high or low (edit) KDR in a game? You may feel that you have an answer to that, but I would not want to hear it, as I know the next person will say something different - and that is the problem.
Judging players on their KDR just causes friction, and as BF has iterated over the versions KDR has become (in my view unhealthily) more important to players as the game mechanics in the genre as a whole makes it easier for players to satisfy their kill lust. BF was meant to be more than that, and still is for many players.
If you throw AI scores into the mix, then that is another opportunity for those who think individual kills are more important than squad contribution to moan and criticise EA/Dice. If you play for your KDR then you are not going to entertain an AI soldier pipping you for top position are you?
This is not to say that server admin don't need to have sight of the lists

From the review: "I asked about the lack of a scoreboard and the general response was “It’s hard to fit 128 players on a scoreboard.”
I don't believe that for a second, other games with similar or even bigger player counts have managed to add standard scoreboard. I don't think DICE is telling the whole truth.
Would be cool if scoreboard gets added later if there is enough demand for it.

- @TheJPfin Yup even Levelcap mentioned that he thought it was intentional by Dice. Makes a bit of sense if there will be tons of AI bots and they don't want to show those. Hmmmmm.
My guess is Portal won't have one either then. Yeah that will be great with Team Deathmatch..... ☹️ Hi everyone, I thought during the Battlefield 2042 beta the scoreboard was disabled because of techincal issues. It looks like the scoreboard has been taken out of the game perminantly, this is a terrible idea because new players will feel no need to play the objective and can't see how other players are performing to understand how to improve. Why does it have to get to the point were DICE makes Battlefield so casual we can't even compair stats to each other. Please bring back the scoreboard DICE even if its just in portal so we can monitor player performance to at least make the game feel like it has stakes.

Scroll scoreboards have been a thing in conquest large for a while, my tin foil reason they don’t won’t a traditional scoreboard is it will make the hacking seem less obvious..😂

Everyone who paid attention to Dice's deafening silence on the matter always knew there would be no traditional scoreboard with K/D.
The only people who insisted we had to wait until release day "because nobody knows" were simply trolling.
