The Question of Aim Assist
Okay, I'm finally putting this here, because I am really, really at a loss. How powerful is the console aim assist? From my POV, it might as well be a legalised aimbot. Currently, I have to resort...
@Moab23The AA in this game is probably the weakest most inconsistent of any FPS game on the market.
Its purpose is to create balance for controller players especially now that crossplay is a thing. So the only way we could prove its balanced or not is to look at the battlefield tracker weapon kills stats.

If its so overpowered as some think then if we look at say the top 100 players in the world then it should sway to controller players right? Ideally it should be 50/50 for it to be classed as balanced or fair.
So what are the facts.
PC=58
Console=42
So the stats show it's kind of close to being balanced but is still swayed towards PC players with a 60/40 split. You widen the pool number and the split grows not shrink. Now also consider that there are more console players then there are PC players. Plus we cant filter out the last gen players from the list who only play PS4 vs Xbox One. So the console players listed could almost be cut in half for the Next Gen console PS5/SX that would be playing against PC players.
So the split could end up being more closer too 70/30 or 80/20 with PC players being still the more dominate players. Controller vs M&K is not even closed to being balanced. A good controller player will beat a bad M and K player any day just as its true for a good PC player beating a bad console player. Both are a thing. You could list off so may advantages for PC, but all PC players can list off is one for controller AA.
So people can whinge and complain but facts don't care about their feelings.

Number of total kills means nothing other than those people have played more
Also someone on PC can play on controller

@InS_HypnoSo go and divide the weapon kills by the number of games a player has played and you are still going to find a PC player averages more kills a game with a weapon then a console player. It doesn't make a difference which way you look at it. The data is data.
No I'm not gonna do the work for you lmao
Perhaps if the aim assist was the consistent through out the game you could use these stats, but considering it has been broken until the last patch makes you theory void. please try agian. lets just call it what it is a crutch for console players.
If anyone feel controller's Aim Assist is too strong, then don't use K&M. Go and try to use the controller to play first!
The target go "left-right-left-right" just sway or close combat, the aim assist just a suck ! Aim assist will be delay. Aim assist just work in mid-range.
When you fix aiming by your control, the aim assist will be move again!! It's because your target is keep running! They won't just run forward or one way.
You feel Aim Assist likes Lock On. However, you forget the predicted collision point. You aren't using laser gun. There have ballistic flight of bullet and it will make you miss if you just follow the Aim Assist.
That's why so many PS5 & XBOX Players are keep requesting K&M support !!!
