There are No Players on South Africa Server....

@UP_Hawxxeyesheer bloody-mindedness on DICE/EA's behalf.

They will need to have a long, hard look at themselves if they want the next BF game to be even moderately successful.

Yeah I agree it doesn't make any sense, it's a real head scratcher.

Imho players spend way too much time in lobbies waiting to play in BF2042, valuable time which should be spent actually playing the game.

Indeed because there less players in those regions just let people get in with the bots or force people to get into one server

Soon there will be no players in Europe. In Breakout mode over the weekend, two-thirds of the players today were bots. The Sims team has almost destroyed the game.

I just wanted to correct you. There are players in South Africa. Enough to fill a 128 player server every evening from 6PM to 11PM on most days.

The catch is, nobody and I mean literally nobody uses "AoW" in RSA because its redundant compared to Portal. South Africans prefer having the tools necessary such as a server browser. It's indeed a pity that AoW doesn't have its servers integrated into the server browser.

During the day there is almost always a Moderate XP 64 player server going. Once that server fills up in the late afternoon, it is typically shut down so everyone can move to the FULL XP 128 player server. The community has a few "admins" who almost always host fully vanilla servers which is great, though there is just one or two who mess it up and host a non-vanilla server. If AI was changed to FULL XP without any additional changes, that server would always have people playing.

This is why no one uses AoW in South Africa. Imagine being able to start the game anyway and play with AI...

I said the same, when there was weekly missions for breakthrough before it was added to Portal. It won't happen sadly. I recommend checking out Portal during the evenings for FULL XP servers, if it even counts for the Redux progression. I haven't played in awhile. Waiting for the vehicle overhaul patch.
