Things which need to be addressed in next updates

I think the major problem right now with the game is the lack of modes, i should be able to play team deathmatch, maybe some modes like only flying vehicoles (maybe that would be fun in 128 players), rush, and many more.

They should be easy to implement and would give players the freedom needed to not get bored playng always equal matches.

I think also that would be nice to join and create squads during a match, they could push the idea that you can play with more than just 4 friends like in other games.

I know they said they abandoned the battle royale, but i think that going free to play with that and changing it a little bit could bring back some old and new players.

Portal was nice for the comunity but i think that is what truly drowned money for the development, i play portal just for the game modes, but it is not better than the battle royale.

  • @bevvoo Server browser. Anything else should be second at this point. Persistent servers with rentable servers would solve all your needs for modes and playing with more than 4 friends, and of getting split up at the end of a round. Boom, done in one.
  • @EA_Atic To be fair the main priority should be the server browser.
The game will always be incomplete without one
  • @EA_Atic Aside from the server browser can we please solo AOW uncapped and full xp enabled. This has been ignored for months.

Official Portal games now give full XP and there's a decent selection right now.

I agree we could do with modes like Outpost or Front lines and Gun master being permanent in Portal.

Sometimes you just want a small scale fun mode to jump into. We can make our own, but these are hampered with limited XP and no rent a server option.

@ABC-Warrior-reali mean, solo/co-op in all out war is completely different than the official portal games.

official portal games should give full xp.
So too should just solo/co-op mode in all out war.

but as it goes there is no official solo/co-op experience that gives ribbons and the mode doesn't count at all for the battle pass missions.

I would have been happy to support the game and continue to play it if they just delivered on the original advertised promise (i really did want to purchase the battle pass, some of those skins are sick).

There was full xp and progression systems in place for a full 2 days after release then it was disabled due to xp bot farms in the portal mode.

SO, they disabled it for all out war also. which is nothing like portal farming.

I can go into all out war with my friends and play battlefield the same way other people do, but i can enjoy it in a more casual sense. however the complete lack of ribbons rewarded and the capped XP make it far less rewarding to play.

I only play solo/cp-op with advanced AI in all out war breakthough mode, but my kills, spots, revives, resupplies, heals, objective captures and defends never count towards weekly missions.

    Think of it this way;

PvP Players (the multiplayer tab in All Out War) paid $100.00 for the game and can unlock new skins (weekly missions) every week since release.

PvE Players (the Solo/Co-Op tab in All Out War) paid $100.00 for the game and have not been able to complete weekly missions at all.

    Can't argue with that 👍

Regarding the PvE progression (or lack of it) issue...

The bottom-line truth here, to be fair... is that EA (and many other publishers) refuses to 'refer to' or 'consider' that PvE vs PvP gameplay has anything to do with a "type of player".

As far as they are concerned there is no such thing as a PvE "player" that buys their games. They, instead, simplify things by calling both PvP and PvE content as "features" that EVERYONE has access to and they go on to completely ignore the fact that there's a ton of PvE players who buy a game with this sort of content and either cannot or will not participate in the PvP portions of the game.

It's always a refreshing and amazing experience, however, when you come across a developer or publisher who takes the time to make sure that both types of players get an equal experience in their game. That is too far and few in between, unfortunately...

...and while we have to be thankful for DICE/EA willing to accommodate us PvE'ers, at least in part, within 2042 it would certainly go a long way to know if they intend on strengthening/improving their Solo/Coop features so that in the future PvE type players will get a more equal gaming experience, as far as unlocks are concerned.
