Split a dying playerbase? Not a good idea...
I do understand the issue with snipers vs aim-assist but at least you can enter matches in a reasonable time.

Play last gen. It is console only crossplay.
- 3 years ago@AngrySquid270 Yeah but it's last gen, pretty much pointless to use for this game if you want it to perform well.

I just played (PS4 version on my PS5) and had no complaints about performance. I frequently swap between the two versions. Graphics seem 90% of next gen. Frame rate is solid/smooth. In general I find that it plays near identically.
If you haven't given it a shot yet/recently I'd recommend you give it another go before writing it off.
- 3 years ago@Daeyon-be It would only die on the PC end if next-gen had console-only crossplay lol.
PC players have every advantage and are still crying 'aim-assist' in this game!? Plug in a controller or play it on console; don't know how strong aa is in Scrub of Duty but it's barely noticeable in 2042, which is fine. It ain't aimbot at all - ironically any form of aimbot (or anything suss) comes from occasional PC peanuts.
PC players need to accept the fact that simply having a PC doesn't mean you're immune from being owned by skilled console/controller players.- 3 years ago

PC players need to accept the fact that simply having a PC doesn't mean you're immune from being owned by skilled console/controller players. This doesn't make any sense...you say that PC players have every advantage (not sure what those are, so if you could expound) and then you say PC players need to accept that they can get owned by console and controller players. You're saying that you want to split off from PC and play only console because PC is over powered, (again not sure how) and then the next statement says that a good player on console can smoke a PC player. Which is it?
And I'm willing to bet you that there isn't enough console only players left to fill out enough 128 person servers to make it playable without AI...
- 3 years ago@Echo6Echo Upgraded PCs perform way better than consoles. Mouse and keyboard is much easier to use than controller. Gaming monitors are more ideal than TVs. Mixing PC with console players makes the multiplayer experience imbalanced. There's a lot more console players on both platforms than PC. These are all straight facts. Only makes perfect sense, nice try for pretending to be in denial though.
PC champs have been crying 'aim assist' since the game launched even though aa has only been properly working for a couple of months now... and the aa itself is weak, which is good... there's really nothing else to say.

Hello, @Daeyon-be
I added a small* section in the description in case the original title was too vague.
* totally represents a massive change and doesn't mean small in any way shape and/ or form.
Hello, @UNL1M1T3D_P0W3RYeah, that would be nice. I would like to add that my opinion on this subject has nothing to do with the performance and/ or input devices between consoles and/ or a personal computer. It's my belief that most computers run more poorly than game consoles like the Xbox Series X and/ or PS5 and the consoles are massively more refined.
It's true that personal computers can achieve a higher amount of fidelity being frame rate, lack of graphic settings and/ or more control over the title, but still I do think consoles are better for gaming in the long run.
I think that because personal computers will always have one issue forever in gaming and that is exploits. PC's have a double edge sword. They're openness allows everything, good and/ or bad.
The market for exploits in PCs is a huge business and it's my main reason why it won't ever get fixed, and certainly not for video games.
Also, this is my own bias, but most times I've watched people playing Battlefield 2042 on Xbox Series X / PS5. It looks strikingly better than PC gamers like LevelCap for example.

That's because competitive PC players turn the graphics down to potato quality settings.

Hello, @OskooI_007
It should be known that I'm both a PC and/ or a console gamer, I'm truly unbiased as much as humanly possible.
There are only two things I can't stand in this world: People who are intolerant of other people's cultures, and the Dutch. - Nigel Powers
I'm very aware of the practices a PC gamer does to gain more performance and/ or reduced latency. My comment was mostly directed at how Battlefield 2042 on Xbox Series X and/ or Playstation 5 looks strictly better in terms of clearly while in motion.
Everytime I watch a video of someone on the latest console I'm surprised how clean the transition is (turning around with a fluid motion, even without motion blur), because I've never experienced that on a PC, and I've been building them since 2007.
It's my belief that consoles still hold a niche the PC ecosystem will never have, and that is optimization. I have a 160 hz monitor, with G-Sync, but still the console to my eyes looks and performs better.
