- @OskooI_007 Precisly... and in a shooter, 1 additional frame of input lag is noticable.
- @N00bdeagle No, it is not better to set it in the driver, as it gives more input latency vs capping fps within the game itself...

When I set the fps to 30 in the menu the system power consumption is 165 watts. With no fps limit, this value is 420watts.
Double this. It would allow my gpu to cool down a bit in main menu.
Now it's just sucking full wattage whilst I ain't even playing the game.
So yeah EA, ADD a MENU FRAME LIMITER!
Please.I have already undervolted my gpu and limited the max wattage... but yeah please 🙂 this would be good.
idc what you do during the loading screen.. just like menu stuff shouldn't draw this amount of power.. like I want to keep the game running when I make some food.. but not spike my energy bills.- GovntTookMyBaby3 years agoSeasoned Ace
youll just have to play with ultra settings an ray tracing, and get a faster monitor 🍺
EA stop mining in the main menu on our hardware!
Add fps limiter in main menu!
Our hardware burn for no reason

Performance and optimization was just never given the priority it deserved.
