I'm perfectly fine with people disagreeing with my opinion, I actually encourage it. No two people are alike in my mind, of course some will like the idea of bots, I just simply don't.
I look at everything in a constructive manner, I'm sure a ton of people will get an enjoyment out of the bots, but what about the people that don't? There is a fine line making everyone happy, currently bots only help one side.
People can use the argument that it feels servers, but in my opinion it just covers up the fact their still empty.
When I buy a game, I want it to last as long as I want to play it--not just until the majority of other players decide to move on (which seems to be about 6 or 8 months).

Why I truly understand your point of view, I'm just a competitive gamer in first person shooter titles, and I really don't get that enjoyment from shooting bots. All I care about is playing with real players because I find it a more challenging experience.
I'm not at all suggesting that everyone doesn't like bots, just me. I know many players that get enjoyment out of bots, shoot I do when practicing new titles (sometimes).
My main concern with bots in Battlefield 2042 is players can't disable them. If players had the ability to disable them, I would love the idea the game has them for players that want them.
Longevity of Battlefield titles is tricky and I understand your view as most titles in the series do lose players quite quickly over time. I honestly just think people get bored because the last titles lack quality and/ or creativity so people move on.
As long as DICE makes a game worth playing, people should stick around. Like honestly, how hard can it be to make something that's already created. I still think players should have the ability to disable bots whenever they want.
