Three years post launch my character skins still reset

Question

Trying to give 2042 another go round. I find it unfathomable that my character skins still reset to the default skin approximately every other spawn in during a match.

While this may seem like a minor thing, it’s more of a quality control issue and a lack of attention to those details that add up to extreme frustration while playing 2042. Like the loadout menus being extraordinarily over complicated and mind numbingly infuriating to navigate on console.

I have reported this specific issue about my skins resetting about three years ago and then again I reported it last year. Still this issue persists. How is that possible??

They churn these skins out as part of their sales model and yet don't even bother fixing this ongoing bug where skins reset. There was a time where players couldn't even equip the skins they purchased and because it wasn't "game breaking" they couldn't care less. They also clearly don't care that you waste your time filling out bug reports that get swept under the rug. They care about our money though don't they. Clearly!

This was Straatford87's response to me about these bugs back in August 2022. Quote -

Have a read.&nbsp;Can I take "What is a skeleton crew" for 100 Alex?The minute you can't handle anything below a "major" bug, it's over. The minor bug Jiras stack up 10x faster than major or critical bugs. The question is how they categorize them. Anything skin related technically is cosmetic and would never be fixed until all other bugs dealing with gameplay have been addressed. Good luck, maybe in the next title they will add it as a legacy feature.&nbsp;

You would think after such a long period that they would have fixed this, I wonder if it has something to do with the servers resetting all the time?

@Zhukov211 I recently responded to a bug report again, but it seems nobody from EA or Dice bothers to look at those.
An issue like this that has been around for so long should have been solved via a quality of life update already. So either they don’t know how to fix it or they just don’t care.
