@FarystarLovesBF1 I’d rather play cross play on as well, but the gaming experience on PC is so bad in comparison. I’ll do to for missions, and if the portal experience maps are bad, otherwise I really can’t go back to the awful hit reg and connection that crossplay on provides. Crossplay off will mean not playing AOW modes. I miss breakthrough. I don’t miss putting a magazine into somebodies back and having them turn and one shot me.

@ATFGunr They should def put more effort into netcode and crossplay as a whole ecosystem. Would be perfect, of they manage to figure out and optimize on how the hits register etc.
- ATFGunr3 years agoLegend@FarystarLovesBF1 I’ve heard other games have also struggled to figure out the network compensations for all the different systems. Until they do though, it’s the players that suffer.

64 player maps are much better too.
While I agree that crossplay is a major contributor to the instadeaths, deaths behind cover, lagginess, hitreg and all the other issues, I find the 64p matches are also much smoother and feel a lot more responsive, which suggests that the overheads of 128p also add to the problems.
- 3 years ago@filthy_vegans I def think that the 128 player count servers are pushing the limits. Personally, I hope they drop the 128 player servers in the next BF. Or at least make maps that better suit that population.
