@mimi0xiquite possibly broken. What vehicle were you in? I think that matters also.
Thermal Smoke should stop ANY lock, including SOFLAM and Dart, at least i know i broke a Jav shot that way in a Wildcat, and had several shots of mine broken that way.
As far as how to lock - any vehicle can be locked onto with the Jav. But it will only fire in DIRECT FLIGHT mode, that means it flies directly at the target.
With the SOFLAM or DART, the Jav will fire and elevate about 10m above the target and detonate its warhead ABOVE and DOWNWARDS. this is the TOP DOWN mode.
But i have discovered it makes no difference damage wise, when it should.
@AOD_CapStar362 This was in Wildcat as well, and yes it traveled top down both times.
I had this happen before tons of times with jets hitting lock-ons through thermal smoke, I guess that's broken too.
