@Adamonic I think it's quite absurd as well that they think they deserve a pat on the back for: reworking all the maps, reworking the vault weapons, and adding basic features such as a scoreboard, voice chat, and classes. I feel it should've been their obligation and duty to do all those things with an apology and show a bit of remorse or regret cause of the game they sold everyone at full price with no refund. It tarnished the franchise name of Battlefield forever and the series will probably never be the same again. I didn't feel how bfv was through it's life cycle was all that bad (besides cutting support way to early). As of season 5s end this is how the game should've launched with what all they've done and what all we have, it is now a complete game and decent game. Now they're going to recycle boring content to probably take a victory lap and probably take time off work cause they feel they've earned it, when truely this is the time they should ramp it up and add 3-4 new maps, 10-15 new weapons, 2-4 new vehicles, and some gadgets. This will draw players back now that it's complete and playable. They finally built it up and got a player base to finally return (like bfv) and they're going to pick now to do nothing and waste this golden moment to redeem the franchise. Now that I have tier 1 every season badge, I'm going to take this "Redux" period, to completely avoid the game and play something else for a change when I can. Usually when I'm not working and have free time battlefield has been my go to since bad company 2, but 2042 just isn't as satisfying to play. I honestly don't think season 6 will be any different than the first 5 seasons besides it has a map that they've started working on post launch (first 4-5 maps were all data mined in pre season so they were already in production so not as much work needed to be done) so this is map they actually have to put work into but does it take even 1 person 18+ weeks to create a map for a multiplayer game (not even a large open world map from a big game)? It makes me wonder what do these devs do all day at work? In the dev updates I wish they'd show what they're actually doing at work that day to see.
