Unbalanced Cross play?
Dice, come on! I'm all for cross play in battlefield and fps games on a whole! But PC against console in bf2042 Really?.. There's only one winner here, for example keyboard and mouse against controlle...

A CoD developer recently commented on their own internal statistics for aim assist. Here's what he said
"When we did the last game, one of our biggest concerns at that time was players on mouse and keyboard versus players using controllers. Finding the balance on that. It’s an interesting thing, because I wish it was a linear spectrum. You can see that a very highly skilled player on mouse and keyboard is fantastic compared to controller. Everybody else on a mouse and keyboard seems to be at a disadvantage statistically, is what we see."

There's a nice video too.
Thanks for sharing those links. I’ll check them out.
I don’t trust anything to do with COD though. They definitely manipulate the network to give certain players an advantage at certain times. Something is way off in COD games from my experience. I’ve found some articles on their business practices and definitely think they’re capable of being very shady.
A similar situation was with Halo Infinite. I really think the slower movement and higher aim assist killed it for MnK players, and didn’t give the game a chance.

I played the MW2 beta and noticed CoD's netcode gives the player running around corners a huge peeker's advantage. The meta in that game is jumping around corners so the person waiting on the other side aiming down their sights has no time to react.
I definitely noticed there's a lot of player movement desync in CoD's netcode.

Ah, that makes sense! I would say that I'm a pretty dynamic player. I'll defend a spot when it's needed, like in conquest, but I'll also get really aggressive and make a push through a choke point and hope for the best. I definitely like to control the pace if I can. That's probably why I wasn't doing so great last time I played a COD game. I didn't buy it, just played on my brothers account a little bit, but got annoyed pretty quickly. I'm just over shooters that have a very low TTK. Who see's who first and can hit a button play style isn't my thing. That's why I've always loved BF games so much. They've always rewarded good timing and positioning rather than just raw reflexes.
Sorry for getting off topic.
