Upcoming Irish nerf
Dice just discussed the upcoming update will bring changes to Irish. According to their data Irish is one of the least picked specialists in the game. So because of that they have decided to nerf him... * what?!

That's quite a nerf. Glad I already got Irish to T1. It's going to be a PITA once these nerfs are implemented.
They should be nerfing the Nightbird instead.
Instead of simply the M5 and TG-84 launcher passes through the APS of Irish an ultra simple adjustment which takes 2min. No it must be reinvented once again the wheel on a basis what makes the game worse, the Explo spam is already insane.
And how can it be that you can throw HE-grenades still 80m far?
People can't honestly think the sentinels weren't completely broken? Lol I'm surprised it took this long

Yes but their idea of a cooldown is terrible.
Making them not stop the EMP grenades and buffing the EMP of the drone so it recharges faster, would had been better adjustments.
The cooldown makes sense on the vehicle versions because they can stop almost EVERYTHING and they cannot be destroyed unless the vehicle is destroyed.
Even allowing the EMP nades through is a massive buff to the scatter grenade and the airburst.
@TTZ_Dipsy was it completely broken? And if we define it as this, I think I can name much more things, that are completely broken, has more impact on the game and isn't changed (Air Burst, Helicopters, Thor, Boris or Crawford, the explosive spam...). So wouldn't it make more sense, to prioritize more impactful topics?
When I am honest, I nearly never played Irish, the nerf doesn't impact me, but I think he countered some problems I mentioned above and to nerf him, without fixing the other problems, will not help the situation at all.
Yes, the ability can be very powerful, same goes for Rao. But as nearly nobody is "using" these tools (so the popularity is on a low), I don't think it is beneficial, if we nerf it, without giving something, what is making this specialist more attractive.
I understand, that he is too powerful, if mixed with camping tanks, but beside that, I haven't seen any situations, where I thought "Oh, this OP Irish, because of him, we are losing!"
I am not a designer, but after all, I am not a big fan of too many explosives, as they lower the needed skill to be successful. Just shot near somebody and he will die. So everything, what is lowering these cheap kills, is good for me.
@ATFGunrThis nerf to the APS is all because of the TOR tank home base campers that hide Irish' APS out of line of sight and then rail everything on the map in complete safety.
There must be another way to address the above without nerfing one of the 2 counters to endless explosive spam this games known for and rendering an already under used specialist practically useless.
Surely they could have just made the APS inactive in your own out of bounds base area without nerfing the APS completely.
This is basically the issue -
