Upgrade 2042 standard edition to gold edition.

I preorder Battlefield 2042 Standard Edition on steam and I want to upgrade it to gold edition should I refund the game and buy the gold edition or is there another way also I am worried about the game duplicating in origin and it may cause some issue.

    Awesome find thanks!  Was there any contract or catch with the Microsoft Game Pass?  Like a yearly agreement after the first 3 months or early cancelation fee?  Thanks again!

    @RandPlayerGuy It auto renews with your attached card or PayPal account in the next 3 months, so it'll auto renew in February so keep that in mind.

    It'll only charge a month ($9.99) not a yearly price.

    Downloaded Back 4 Blood and been playing that instead, super fun and very polished. Downloading Age of Empires 4 too as we speak and just thinking about laying back for 1-2 months until this gets fixed and EA finally decides to let us upgrade to Ultimate.

    Hopefully it gets fixed till January, my bank offers 20% cashback for any video game purchase by then. 🙂

    So I bought the standard edition of 2042 fot the PS5 on the PlayStation store but want to upgrade and get the gold edition so I can play today. The only problem is there is no "upgrade button" on the PS store and it's making me buy the gold edition at full price. Does anyone know if there is a way to upgrade the standard edition to gold on the PS5 for just the extra 30 ish bucks?
