Uptick in Cheats After Sale

There's been a noticeable amount of suspicious players after the sale. I'm bringing this up because I hope that Dice is taking notes of who is cheating, and more importantly, how they're cheating. No one rage hacks anymore, it's much more subtle these days for the most part.

Dice should be looking at players accuracy while jumping instead of overall statistics for instance. If I were going to cheat, I wouldn't even use an aimbot, I'd eliminate gun sway and movement penalties, and then you could have a mini map on a different screen or something. All of this could easily be hidden by streamers as well. A decent player is going to use cheats in the most minimal way to lessen the chance of being detected.

I've reported about a dozen players the past couple of weeks, some blatant, some I'm sure are just alts, but not a single one has been banned. Which I find very concerning, because a couple were very obvious. There's even one player with Zero stats, they quit before the end of each match. Why would anyone legit do that? I've checked back on them through out the week, and they still haven't completed ONE single match.

Cars do self checks. They do these little test to make sure everything is functioning correctly. They'll routinely blip the gas to make sure sensors are working as an example. I feel like that needs to be adapted in the gaming world. Shift hit boxes on a suspicious player, see if they still track in the same spot. Put "phantom" hit boxes in odd spots and see if they'll snap or track them. There's gotta be more ways of flushing these cheaters out.

Cheaters are routinely pre-lining shots up with people who aren't spotted, with no line of sight, and with no sound. The other big tell is that they just don't have any movement penalties. It's near impossible to tell just by watching them, and some of the penalties can be countered with precise timing of actions. However, I have a hard time believing that all these streamers have "mastered" movement when they have less than 100-200 hours in game. I'm sure their are some people that can, but in no way is that common, nor can you be that consistent when the servers themselves are not.

I get that EA and Dice are trying to ride this hype, squeeze out a few more bucks before BF6 launches, but please pay attention and gather some data. There's a clear uptick in cheats, and now is a good time to understand what they're doing a little better.
