Urgent Attention Needed: Console Recoil and Aim Issues Since Update 5.0

Hello Devs,

Console recoil and aim have become highly inconsistent since update 5.0. Please make this a top priority, attention is required to address this issue as it has become exceedingly challenging to eliminate opponents, even when utilizing burst firing techniques. The overall performance of assault rifles feels significant off. This is the first time in a long while that I have felt demotivated to continue playing the game. It seems as though I am constantly battling against the forces of gravity when attempting to target enemy players at specific distances. Previously, I had been using consistent settings since season 2, with 50% aim assist, 0% snap zoom, and a soldier sensitivity of 32, without any problems. However, now it appears that I will have to extensively modify my settings once again.

  • if you play ARs then i am sadly informing you that DICE never tested the update and the burst.reset is bugged... meaning you do not decrease spread inbetween bursts.

either play SMGs or LMGs until DICE bothers or you will need to deal with it until resolved

@GrizzGolf i am not expecting a fix for that before the hourglass update... DICE is known for many things but fast patches has never been their priority
  • I'm on ps5 (crossplay on) and also only have sticky aim assist on; noticed that the aim assist is inconsistent - sometimes my aim doesn't really slow down when my crosshair is on a target. It's sad that these sorts of issues are present two years following the game's release

  • @CarreraLuu Welcome to playing like a PC where we don’t get any assists. AR aim is broken for all of us so we can agree as a community that this should be a priority. It won’t be, they’ll get around to it when they feel like, but it should be.

Which stinks because we really could use it

100% this, it really should be their #1 priority, AR's are in a terrible place at the moment

  • I know u. Lol

    I do the opposite.

    0 aim assist.

    90 snap to target.

    Soldier sense 90 or 95

I like the assault changes.  Makes snipers and smg more viable.

    Answer:

Try turning down universal soldier aim coefficient

Try 40 instead of 133 default. This will help track targets at further ranges because smaller inputs are needed.

      Take care man
