So after the next patch 20mm and 30mm explosive rounds take forever to kill infantry? Why didn't you take away the term "Soldier killer" as well in the vehicle information tabs?The attack helicopter was known to shreck infantry in previous titles, there is plenty utility to break the helicopter in the game. AA, Soflam + m5 recoilles, Foot AA, Heavy machine gun fire, miniguns. These vehicles should be feared in the game and not be laughed at. Now all i see is just an attack chopper not oh * there's an attack chopper.The M5c Bolte has the 30mm cannon as well same as the attack chopper. They both shoot cotton buds now it takes 15 shells to kill one infantry man. Same story with the Nightbird. The vehicle settings were fine and now you are just killing them.Whats next? Tanks take 3 shells to kill a man..It seems like the devs are listening to a minority of the people who are complaining about a death how it should and can't stand a loss.Stop nerfing * you don't need to nerf.

It feels like they want to pull in the CoD crowd so they're turning the vehicle play into a gimmick. Like the vehicles are only there so people can make video clips of blowing them up to get multi kills.I'm a damn good tank driver in BF4 and still do pretty well in 2042 but my gunner seats sit unmanned because people are afraid to get in. Tanks are huge targets, easy to see and hit, have almost no hiding places on most maps and have to deal with so many threats only very skilled drivers have a chance to live longer than a few seconds in them while trying to PTFO.When I drive the Bolte I have a gunner maybe 20% of the time because the huge front window provides zero damage reduction to small arms fire. The attack heli's are so weak and vulnerable I get a gunner even less % of the time.Taking a transport aircraft anywhere close enough to a capture point for its weapons to be effective is just asking for a barrage of AA and M5 as well as Super Sundances flying across the map to C5 you.When people post videos of killing large amounts of people in vehicles they're bragging "look how cool and skilled I am" and then when those same people and a couple of friends get killed by a vehicle they post a video of it saying "look how OP such and such is" so the Devs nerf such and such.

@Tronald0_78 I think you're on the wrong side of the argument. BF has always featured vehicle warfare, you can always go play COD.

The nerf clearly needed to happen - infantry is getting absolutley shredded out there. The cannons aren't becoming obsolete though, the list showed just a slight reduction: they'll remain powerful but will be more balanced

@Jomsdk everything is threading tanks at the moment. They're harmless

@Tronald0_78You really dont understand how vehicles and auto repair work do you ? If they were to remoove auto repair they would need to remoove " damage done to X and Y parts wich slow you down to oblivion and would make vehicles impossible to use with all the lock on soflam , recoiless m5 spam and other vehicles ...Its balanced in a way that auto repair only temporarily fix the part damaged like turrets turn or wheels etc.. and only repair the vehicles if no damage was done ...

So yeah if we can go full speed and no weird * slow down is applied when damaged i wouldn't have sny problem with manual repair only but you realise back then i was killing way more poeples way more easily in game like BF2 and BFBC1 ?
The only reason ppls are under the impression ppls kill more with vehicles as only anything to do with the cheer amount of players concentration in the game .. when you fall into a pit of 20+ infantry all stacked and focused elsewhere it can be payday .. while in smaller scale BF this was not happening ever .. Planetside also offer momment like this .

They shouldn´t have touched the vehicles they were good as they were, just the damage drop from range should have been adjusted plus adding weak spots on vehicles. But nerfing the cannons wasn´t necessary. You gotta go halfway your overheating to kill a dude. In BF2 it was 3 mi-28 havoc 30mm shots and ur dead.
