There is a world of difference between infantry dying to bullets versus a heli dying to a TV missile.
Infantry have their set of pros/con's
Helis have their set of pros/con's.
They also have a set of similarities.
Because infantry and heli's are vulnerable to OHK does not mean heli pilots should be able to trade in one of their heli con's for an infantry pro.
Also infantry has penalties for dying beyond just the spawn timer. If I die as an infantry while attacking an objective then I still need to spend X seconds of downtime hiking back to that objective for another push.
If I kill an infantry player I can expect that I won't be seeing that player again for quite some time.
If I kill a heli with this proposed spawn timer removal the I could expect to see that heli again before the wreckage of the first heli even hit the ground.
