vehicles are overpowered
Plz nerf the health of vehicle its honestly getting annoying when u die more to vehicles than guns, like if u miss even a single shot with the recoilless u can't destroy most of the vehicles with gun...
I'm genuinely curious as to why you want to play Battlefield, is it just for the infantry combat?
BF2042 has less vehicles than any BF title to date, how much more "balance" are you looking for?
@Ironhead841I have always played mostly infantry since BF3 (probably started playing BF "a lot" with BF4).
While I understand that vehicles are important for BF-games, I think that playing mostly as infantry is a total valid way of playing the game.
The problem is that the game-design of 2042 makes vehicles a problem. Even though they are perhaps not as strong as in BF4, they dominate mostly because the map-design is a joke in 2042.
Again, my argument is that most of the players at any given time are playing as infantry (by far). Infantry are often the ones PTFOing (which is fundamental to BF-Conquest) and making their life too miserably with vehicles is bad game-design.
I don't think the number of vehicles in 2042 is less than ever. BF1/BFV had less vehicles. And every vehicle in 2042 - even transports - have explosive ammunition (cannons).
The number of offensive vehicles in 2042 has increased compared to previous titles - half the transports are not just transports. And while the number of players have increased as well, the increase in number of vehicles scales very badly, especially with the bad maps in 2042.
If I remember correctly Infantry only servers on Strike at Karkand in BF2 were extremely popular back in the day. I for one played it a lot because I did get tired of being destroyed by vehicles. I think that is why Metro and Lockdown were so popular as well. So there are people that enjoy infantry-only BF. But vehicles in 2042 are very underpowered. So many ways to take them out now.

@UP_LordPlumberI get your points about vehicles being "weak" compared to BF3/4 - I played especially BF4 a lot and know that very well (thermals are luckily not in 2042).
My main issue with 2042 is the map design. In older titles you had the option of moving around the map as infantry and mostly avoid vehicles, because of the layout of terrain, buildings etc. Most BF2042 maps feels like playing Golmud Railway/Silk road, which are not really the most interesting maps in BFs history.
Also having the one-size-fits-all approach to the number of vehicles are a big change compared to older titles where the number of vehicles varied a lot from map to map.
the only vehicle that is so OP it is broken is the stealth helo and it is just going to get worse when they take the stinger away from Rao
