The VHX is OP, there is no way around it. Do not kid yourself. I played it for 2 weeks and it was already my top weapon.
I believe it came in after the spread/bloom global nerf, which would make sense, because it stands alone as the best AR in the game, and arguably best main weapon in the game depending on the situation. It doesn't need a crazy nerf, but it needs something because there really is no need to use any other weapon if you actually want to compete. If you are playing just find the plushies, then any other weapon is fine.
- RanzigeRidder22 years agoLegend@BownrInSweatPanz HS multiplier definitely is a factor that favors the AR's, SMG's have almost been rendered useless because of it. There's AR's that shine in CQ and there's AR's that shine in mid/long range.
And then there's the VHX-D3 that shines like the polestar!
In the AR class I've mastered the SFAR, AC-42, RM68, GEW-46 and the ACW-R, and a decent amount of time and kills with the M5A3. None of these come close to the VHX-D3 when it comes to Damage/min and Kills/min. But my HS% is lowest on the VHX-D3 compared to all these except the M5A3. - Adamonic2 years agoLegend

- BownrInSweatPanz2 years agoSeasoned Veteran@Adamonic I can even point out when the change was made around S2, and DICE have not learned their lesson when SMGs had 2x HSM, you were able to beam people at 80+m away, and it was over nerfed to 1.25x, which is barley any damage rewarded for hitting heads. Meanwhile ARs got boosted from 2x to 2.15x which really makes them powerful to be able to 2-3 shot at close to mid range hitting all HS.
