Vision in game

So despite having fully functioning 20/20 vision in the real world i am miraculously rendered blind when playing this game, i cannot see enemies at any reasonable distance and by the time i do see them i am dead

It seems i am the only person afflicted with this witchcraft, i have turned brightness up to no avail

This is the only game that does this, why cant i see a damn enemy? what settings could help with this because the developers clearly messed up big time, i thought BF5 was bad but this pile of hit takes the biscuit

any suggestions on settings i can change?

i don't even know why i am bothering to try and get the vision better as its full of cheaters anyway, the same as BF1 which i quit due to them ruining it and Mods dont be deleting my post because i am calling this game out

Everyone and their dog knows BF games are riddled with cheaters and that is a fact

Dude I'm so glad I'm not the only one who experiences this.
BF2042 has some visual settings to it that make it for me impossible to quickly see enemies.
Over the past months I've tried so many changes from graphics, resolution to settings in PROFSAVE_profile but nothing really helped.
Most guns I play have the thermal sights on as this is the best option to see whats happening in a large area.
Actually I installed Bad Company 2 and BF3 to check with the same hardware. And both have so much better visuals when it comes to seeing enemies.

I tried many different brightness settings. I changed the contrast settings. I am experiencing the same problem in the corridors inside the stadium, as if there is some kind of fog curtain. But in open fields, I can see the enemy very clearly.

The game is done that way. Is better to stay still and hidden and wait for someone to move than running and gunning. the game don't render the players fast enough.

The stadium has very dark areas where even a flashlight is not helpful. The map needs more work!

@ChusmaConArmas This does not fit my game principle, I would rather not play this game than hide like a mouse next to the trash.

@sk1lld This is something they do on purpose. And I hate it. Why does this game only do things that players hate?

Maybe your game system has something to do with it. I play on PS4 and every match I start as infantry everyone is invisible for about 3 minutes. All I can see are name tags. Been shot several times due to this. Valparaiso is the worst. The environment doesn't even render in for several minutes

@sk1lld I know it’s an old post, darn near necro lol, but I still have issues. The contrast is pretty bad. Remember on release it was so bad they added neon bloody lights to players to try and make them visible. It barely helped.

I guess I need to take back my statement. Had a guy just walk right in front of me, didn't see him until he fired and killed me. God, I dislike what they have done to my stadium.
