@Ironhead841I agree. BF4 was pretty bad, 2042 is totally over the top.
Audio spot (showing on minimap when shooting) should go away for starters, the game already has plenty of spotting mechanics without audio spot. Suppressors should work like in BFV, not showing directional indicators when getting shot by suppressed weapons.
The best thing is shooting at enemies (as infantry), just to be instantly blown to pieces by a heli that spots you on the minimap.

Isn't that what the Subsonic ammo is for?

@PantleonSubsonic ammo's purpose is to be used with a suppressor to make the incoming direction indeterminable.

@PantleonPerhaps, but audio spot on minimap, when shooting is awful. How they balance subsonic ammo/suppressors I don't really care, if just audio spot was removed.

@PantleonThat is not the point.
We are now back to using the minimap for finding enemies and shooting doritoes instead of enemy players. This was some of the worst parts of especially BF4 (still the best BF-game in a long time). Mini-map spotting was removed in BF1 and BFV and that worked well (the games had other issues).
We shouldn't rely on spot as much, visibility and sound should be enough. Spotting is more or less watered down "wall-hacks", that are put in the game because the graphics and sound are not working or are focused on "immersion"/looks, more than good gameplay.
