Weapon Unlocks
I think I preferred having to do assignments to unlock weapons. Having to unlock them via battlepass is really grindy and takes forever for those of us that can't play all the time.

- @BLADEWARRIOR447 I kind of miss that too but don't really mind the current way either. It does sometimes feel like a grind (especially when you really want a specific gun) but some of the old assignments were frustrating too.

Just makes me want to play less. Assignments gave objectives to work toward and were somewhat fun to go after. Some of them even forced you to change your playstyle and promoted experimenting with new guns or different classes. While BF4 is showing it's age and, for me at least, isn't as fun to play anymore, I do miss the many weapon and gear assignments that it had.

Being able to unlock weapons/vehicles etc. via assignments is still in the game. However, this mostly only affects Vault weapons that are being brought to AoW, or previous Season Battle Pass Weapons & Vehicles, as those can be unlocked via special assignments the following Season.
