- JOGAGATYA4 years agoSeasoned Ace@Tee_Doff2369 Now that everyone has ranked up and has weapons and attachments, XP and ribbons etc are worthless and no point playing the game for. We can all head to Portal so you don’t have to deal with specialists. I guess a lot of people are there now…???? Actions speak louder than words. Always excuses. Once you have your needed attachments you just play the game for itself. For fun. You don’t need silly rewards.
- Tee_Doff23694 years agoRising Hotshot@JOGAGATYA You like to be very reductionist in your arguments, it is pretty tedious.
Not everyone has ranked up and has weapons and attachments unlocked. People play at different paces, and those who want to unlock all T1 guns/outfits etc. could quite happily spend a long time doing so.
As I've already said; the 'classes' in portal are not the same as the classes in previous games. You are locked to certain gadgets, limited guns and limited attachments. If you want to play with them you'd probably be better going back to those games, than spending time in portal.
A 'lot of people' aren't playing anywhere right now. However, a lot of those playing are playing where the exp and progression is, yes.
'you don't need silly rewards' - I'm glad you are here to set the industry right and police how people play the game. Goodness me. Battlepasses exist, and are popular, because people want to play for rewards and to 'achieve' something. People seem to like them for that reason, whether you do or not. - JOGAGATYA4 years agoSeasoned Ace@Tee_Doff2369 Just trying to help here 🙂. Pointing out something like this: you don’t necessarily need to take pictures of fireworks and post it on FB. You can just relax, watch it and enjoy it. You might miss all the fun. Cheers
Since they won't let go of specialists, you won't be seeing me on the battlefield.
There really isn't much more they can do at this point to make it worse. The game across the board is a tragedy. Nothing works per design, buggy, glitchy, still have to reset video setting every time I start the game, just a horrible excuse for a battlefield release. Never again.
TBH I'm not really that fussed about the specialisrts, they are crap but there's worse thing to the game, like the maps. These are hands down the worst maps in the battlfield franchise. If the maps where good and engaging it would be tolerable but currently the only good map imo is Arica Harbour and Caspian Border. Legacy maps.
I'm in the US and have never gotten a full server on Xbox series x. Last time I played I quit after I waited so long I cooked bacon and pancakes for my kids and came back still waiting for a match.
What about the 98% of players who quit. I bet they loved specialists.

At this point, you can pine for the old BF days or hope that DICE and EA will make good on whatever game comes after 2042; but what is certain is that you can't have it both ways, DICE has made that clear.
Sticking to Specialists? Well, I guess you know who they are going to make the next game for and its not their older fan base who has carried them all these years.
I just came back to see what updates there are since I have not played since launch and the news of 1 map and continuing specialists means it is Time to turn the page.
