I havent seen the reason why battlelog was introduced in the first place.
I dont do antisocial media and stick to remain so. My privacy is too expensive to be taken away by those who want to be broadcasted everywhere - pretty much like, those who do live broadcasts start to complain they need tsome measures to halt streamsniping lololol :P Solution is simple. You do not broadcast. Or you do and should expect to be streamsniped. I dont need attention of anybody online.
Doing contradictory stuff and then crying about it is something that that makes me think many people dont understand what they are doing.
Sorry, Battlelog had nothing to do with broadcasting your gaming or exposing your privacy online...
It was an invaluable tool for the player to manage/customize his/her soldier without having to be active in the game. It also offered the perfect server browser in a clean efficient way for players to find the best servers to join with their soldier. It enabled the groups of players to team up in clans to play together and against each other in organized clans. It enabled the players to customize their soldier with preferred loadouts and custom emblems. It helped the players to track their personal soldier progress and understand/coordinate what next ventures they should take on in pursuit of next weapon or vehicle unlocks. Etc etc etc.
I do not think it can be overestimated the true value that the Battlelog environment brought to the BF community!
