What should be done is to completely remove everything other than light transport vehicles (and maybe this robot dog thingy if they insist on keeping it in the game even though I am in favor or removing it completely) from the call-in system.
Just light vehicles with no or very basic weapons only (definitely NO .30 or .50 with heavy spash damage!). Then make sure every player can call in one at any time (meaning: reduce or remove the timer and increase the number of vehicles available). This would at least prevent us from having to run the barren maps for 2 minutes before getting either insta-killed by a NTW-50 body shot or by a OP Nightbird just before reaching the next flag.
