@CantGetRightI understand all your arguments and I remember the forums for BF3, it was the same as today - game is COD now, too many snipers, too many campers etc etc.
I understand that BF3 changed the BF-formula compared to "the old days", but still it was a big commercial success compared to older versions.
BF2 was another type of game (more tactical and deadly), but in reality this type of game is not as popular as the more casual / chaotic nature of BF3 (and later versions of BF).
Many keep bringing up past BF launches and their problems, including their turnarounds. But one thing that was consistent with those games and turnarounds was the original DICE Devs. We don't have those same Devs anymore. We have Mickey Mouse Club Devs now. We have Fortnite, Apex, Candy Crush, and COD copycat Devs. Who have no standing history with this franchise, nor do they care about the history of this franchise. So, unfortunately, the past Battlefield turnaround updates will not happen. They are not skilled enough to pull it off. Hell, they are still trying to figure out how the Frostbite system works. That's why there is such a lack of destruction in the game.

Please provide a link to what you claim or is it just conjecture?
Hell, every comment on here is mostly conjecture. Additionally, everybody on here purchased the game on conjecture. All of our conclusions of the game were formed based on incomplete or skewed information provided by EA and DICE. Therefore, we purchased this incomplete game.

bf is over, candy crush apex fortnite cod ) all the way - In the next updates, BF2042 devs must make the game stable for PC users. Players are still crashing back to the desktop.I would deeply appreciate the statistics page, VoIP, CLASSIC scoreboard, Squad Management - such changes won`t turn the tide of the abysmal launch.I prize Specialists in Conquest as much as in TDM, even I see no point for Classes in TDM in a similar fashion as in Gun Master. I have expected a highly tactical arcade shooter in Conquest. Instead of the militaristic feel to the game, the atmosphere of the circus is strong. Factions have been stripped of climate in the same manner as Conquest from classes.Release finally more maps and more content to finally keep me interested. The lobby will never be on par with rental servers run by the communities in CQ / BT / RUSH and smaller gun-to-gun games. Bots in strictly PvP experience is one of the major nails to the BFs coffin as a franchise in my solely biased opinion.If the conquest falls, then the entire mediocre game falls. There are enough "hero" shooter games on the market and I never asked for Battlefield to become one.I feel truly happy for those who enjoy their gold / ultimate editions with continuously postponed content. The full game after a year since launch will be like 60 bucks or less without more content and bug fixes.Specialists with one-liners really don`t add anything to the gaming experience without their affiliation to factions. No matter what vision is being served by the devs, won`t suddenly erase the past 20-year experience with the franchise. BF2042 is a flop gameplay-wise and a marketing success at the same time. 8 million copies sold, concurrent 4500 players on steam, and the numbers will continue to spiral down.
I made a pretty comprehensive list of what I personally think needs to be addressed with urgency (the next 1-2 updates), to at least make the game something people cant keep playing while they work on content.
