Now DO YOU like the system of specialists? FINE! Go ahead and play the game (no one stops you from playing with the FEW that are left)!
@BlackSize23-ITAif there are umpteen ways that the class system FIXES anything that the specialists don't it should be easy to give me ONE example
here's the difference though. i'm not trying to take away your ability to play as you like. you want to take away mine *that i already have*

I would like to know why people that don't like the game and don't like the specialist why are you still here talking about a game you don't like unless you are trying to sway people into not liking the game? I know when I don't like a game I stay clear of even talking about it.

@CantGetRight Because we love Battlefield and we want to fight for the Battlefield experience we love because we know that 2042 can be a fun and proper Battlefield if DICE course corrects like they did with BF5's Pacific expansion. My question is if you want Battlefield to be something other than Battlefield why not just play those other non-Battlefield games and leave Battlefield to those who love it?
I've played every Battlefield title and I've never seen the community in this state - not even in BF5 which was objectively the low point of the series for community sentiment. It was apparent in the recent EA earnings call that 2042 has failed and they are looking to do something so it's not just a few malcontents on the forum saying 2042 needs big changes, it's the majority of the player base. If you're enjoying 2042 that's great, but it's apparent that both the core player base and the EA finance department is not.
- 4 years ago@ragnarok013 Thing is this is a BF game through and through. You have large-scale maps, large-scale fights, vehicular combat, infantry combat. infantry vs vehicles. It's the same thing you had in every BF ever produced. The only difference is they added specialists on top of classes and opened up the weapons. In fact I get BF2 vibes from this game that the others didnt have.

This is a whole discussion that there has been on the subject specialists vs classes ... Here you can see all the points of view of both those who are pro specialists and those who are against ...
If you exclude the opinions of those who wrote: I'm right because yes (from both sides) you will have the reasons why THE MAJORITY likes the class system.

Enjoy the reading.you have completely missed my question. i have read that whole thread, there is nothing objective that can be argued to show that classes fix something that the current system can't.
what does the class system fix in regards to gameplay that is impossible with specialists
forcing classes will not make people have good teamwork. it is something they do or don't do, the restrictions on classes won't change that. the wookie on the hill is gonna be a wookie on a hill no matter what

That's your opinion.
Most people want classes and most people dislike the specialists and the way the game has become an episode of the clone wars.
If EA want people to play the game, they should do what the people want. Simple as that

@BlackSize23-ITA
Please sumerize this " majority " and their arguments ? Beside I dont like it because i say so ..
you refer to my thread and ive spend a month in it debating with peoples and the missconceptions about past BF games and the specialist system ..
There is no where a " both side " say i am right because i say so .. Its a one side thing .. And i can understand if it was truely like prefering red over blue ..
But the false arguments dosnt help anyones .. Classes have never prevented solo play or lone wolf stuff . BF4 classe and gadjet custumization as well as being able to pick up peoples kits on the ground didnt force teamplay it made it even more easy to solo ..and switch kits on the fly never need amo etc..
What about Snipers highjacking Helicopters to crash them on highrise building to plant a squad becon and camp all games on high rise ? Never ever near any objective ?
What about Metro 24/7 farm where peoples only rambo camped stairs and farmed KDR ?
What about BF4 " medic " classes aka Assault having no Defib , No medpack yet having the same skins as those who did ?
what is the argument to defend that ? To choose another BF like BFV instead ? BF4 didnt got flak because iit had no classes system .. It had a classes system yet it was more chaotics and unpredictable than BF2042 ever .
I could go on for ages on that . but i have not yet seen a single argument that can be considered as a valid argument to proove the classes system improoved team work or limited solo play ..
Most players have barely 1.0 KDR most of them have their character dead before they run out of amo ...- 4 years ago

"BF4 didnt got flak because iit had no classes system .. It had a classes system yet it was more chaotics and unpredictable than BF2042 ever ."
Sorry, but this is just plain wrong!!! And this has nothing to do with classes vs specialists but with gameflow.
BF 2042 is the most unpredictable Battlefield ever, because of some design choices.
In previous games, if you knew the maps and understood how each of them flows, everything was super predictable.
In BF 2042, a character like Sundance makes any frontline notion irrelevant. She is stupidly designed and her wingsuit is just a joke, especially with super open maps with little to no bottlenecks / forced paths.
Add MacKay and some lightning fast vehicles in quantity + on short respawn timers and there you go: you have constant, utter chaos.
