@BlackSize23-ITA
Please sumerize this " majority " and their arguments ? Beside I dont like it because i say so ..
you refer to my thread and ive spend a month in it debating with peoples and the missconceptions about past BF games and the specialist system ..
There is no where a " both side " say i am right because i say so .. Its a one side thing .. And i can understand if it was truely like prefering red over blue ..
But the false arguments dosnt help anyones .. Classes have never prevented solo play or lone wolf stuff . BF4 classe and gadjet custumization as well as being able to pick up peoples kits on the ground didnt force teamplay it made it even more easy to solo ..and switch kits on the fly never need amo etc..
What about Snipers highjacking Helicopters to crash them on highrise building to plant a squad becon and camp all games on high rise ? Never ever near any objective ?
What about Metro 24/7 farm where peoples only rambo camped stairs and farmed KDR ?
What about BF4 " medic " classes aka Assault having no Defib , No medpack yet having the same skins as those who did ?
what is the argument to defend that ? To choose another BF like BFV instead ? BF4 didnt got flak because iit had no classes system .. It had a classes system yet it was more chaotics and unpredictable than BF2042 ever .
I could go on for ages on that . but i have not yet seen a single argument that can be considered as a valid argument to proove the classes system improoved team work or limited solo play ..
Most players have barely 1.0 KDR most of them have their character dead before they run out of amo ...

Sorry, but this is just plain wrong!!! And this has nothing to do with classes vs specialists but with gameflow.
BF 2042 is the most unpredictable Battlefield ever, because of some design choices.
In previous games, if you knew the maps and understood how each of them flows, everything was super predictable.
In BF 2042, a character like Sundance makes any frontline notion irrelevant. She is stupidly designed and her wingsuit is just a joke, especially with super open maps with little to no bottlenecks / forced paths.
Add MacKay and some lightning fast vehicles in quantity + on short respawn timers and there you go: you have constant, utter chaos.
- 4 years ago@Hug_Me_Softly Well i play any maps in 2042 and i understand the flow , the aproach the vehicles routes and routines , the snipers spots etc...
Also unless you are a Rush only or a Metro24/7 player you already know the nature of conquest game modes with dropships can shift at anytime ..
But as a exemple if your team Hold A 1 D1&2 and C1 on discarded the batlleflow will most likely poor from B2 to c1 or E1 to D2 back ship ..
The flow become pretty obvious and clear same goes for any maps as long as you play enough to know the maps well ..
Also Vehicles are super easy to deal with due to EMP , EMP pulse , RAO hacks , Drone hacks and disable parts so 1 rocket with EMP can handicap a vehicles enough to make it useless if timed right ..
Sundance can be killed mid air at any time .. Mckay is dealt with other mckay and does not magically teleport ..
Also at this point you dont critic specialist system but the " gadjet " they were given ..
If it was BF4 and Assault could equip a wingsuit or grappling you would make the exact same complaints .. So basically its irrevelant to the system itself and your complaints would carry in a " classes base system " where these items / gadjets would exist.. Am i wrong here ?
Also i would agree some parts of the maps need rework .. better cover more terrain deviations etc.. And DICE already said in march they will start improoving existing maps with community feedback ..
Once again nothing that show any positive to the classes system- 4 years ago@Stew360 I will give you something, I am indeed criticizing the overall design, not argueing on specialists vs classes.
Theoritically, yes, Sundance can be shot mid_air, vehicles can be EMPed, etc. It happens. But that's not the norm, and you know it as well as I do.
Classes in previous games didn't have talents allowing them to fly all over the place at great speed or instantly grapple up to otherwise hard to reach spots.
Good maps had bottlenecks and somehow forced paths to specific locations. Verticality required air drops.
BF 2042 just doesn't flow well and some of the design choices make no sense for a BF game.
This why discussing specific features / characteristics separetely doesn't lead anywhere!
Good gameplay depends on a lot of intricated factors, and in BF 2042, a lot of things just don't connect with each other.

All present in previous games that you think were predictable.
