Whenever I check comment sections for the game (Reddit, and regrettably Twitter) I realise that I have a very unpopular opinion about this game.
Mostly in the fact that this is one of my favourite Battlefield games, along with 1 and 5.
I like the 128 players, but I also wish that people spread out a bit more, as most of the time at least in my region some of the best areas of the maps are empty, and strangely some of the more open parts are where all the players are, which tends to confuse me based on complaints.
I personally love 128 players on breakthrough, I also wish there were more vehicles available. I see the appeal to 64 players as it feels more authentic to the typical battlefield experience of the past.
But hey, I like the chaos. (I wish the tornado was much stronger, and a bit more frequent 😛)
additional note, I think 128 players could lend itself really well if they made some building heavy maps like from Battlefield 4 (which I was hoping more from Kaleidoscope (though I still love the map), and Hourglass (my biggest disappointment about 2042)), and also an infantry map like Operation locker (but please not another Fort de Vaux)... but bigger of course. (both would appease the cover complaints and rampant vehicle haters, for those maps at least... I think)
