What maps do you want to see brought back in Battlefield 2042?

Apart from much needed new maps, for which we can count us very lucky if we get 4 in total and maybe just one more in the worst (but IMO not unrealistic) case, there are MANY maps of the supported older titles I'd love to see back in Battlefield.

We know that the possibility does not even exist for titles other than BF1942, BFBC2 and BF3, I personally would like to see some maps like

• Operation Metro (I only like this map for smaller Rush modes, 24 or 32 player Rush, but I know this would bring back MANY players, so this is a must have for that reason alone, even if I won't play 64 player CQ on this map, especially not the BF3 version without Elevators and side tunnel and exit)
• Seine Crossing (for both CQ and Rush)
• Strike at Karkand, (yes, as this needs to be in a BF game once again)
• at least one of the three good maps from the Aftermath DLC, so either Epicenter, Azadi Palace or (my favorite): Talah Market
• Grand Bazaar (obviously)
• one map of the Close Quarters DLC for BF3

Of course there were better maps in other titles and if I could also select maps from BF4 I would definitely have maps like Zavod 311 on my list, but as we seem to be limited to only certain older versions here, this would be my list. And I just realize that it is VERY BF3 heavy, but this was the best of the 3 titles that are at least somewhat realistic to get maps converted from. And for BFBC2 my favorites were Arica Harbor and Valparaiso, which we already got (and especially Valparaiso got extended in a very good way, so kudos to Ripple Effect for that one!)

In any case, the list above would by MY pick for new maps to select from to be ported over. But honestly, we all know that Rebecca Goutaz flat out lied when she said that multiple studios would be fully dedicated to the game and working with all employees only on BF2042. Please, Dice, prove me wrong, prove that you really meant what was said.

The prove is in new content we get our hands on and not in words. After all the evidence we have we can say that there is a maximum of 5 developers working on the game, maybe less. So I personally expect the worst and this is 3 new specialists, 1 (ONE) new map, maybe in S3 and the rework of (some of) the launch maps. And that they even try to sell us fixing the launch maps as 'new content'. I would personally not even be surprised that they give us a proper fix of all launch maps by S4, say, that this is their S4 and final content drop and call it a day. Maybe I am overly pessimistic, but this might again be a prediction I should bookmark now and reflect on it later in mid 2023 to see how far off I was.
