Lets see
DIce and their moronic little "report system" that seems to do absolutely nothing.
The fact that frostbite engine games (especially where bf is concerned) seem to have hackers even in the so called betas that are actually demos.. The engine seems to be bread and butter for hack makers to develop cheats for, even more so considering a lot of code for it was leaked a month or so back. The first battlefield frostbite engine game on pc was bad company 2 and the "beta" had people hacking in it, it took them a few days tops to figure out ways to code aimbots for downloadable hacks.
There's also the fact their games release in rough shape to say the least and it usually takes a good while for them to iron out stuff that should have been caught long before the game released. But the sad fact is these games don't release when they're ready, they release to meet a certain time of years where sales will be higher coming upto christmas etc state of the game be damned, hardly surprising that BF games generally release in the last quarter of the year to meet this criteria.

It is almost like if the hackers have a better grasp of the frostbite engine. Perhaps they should go hire those talents
.
Reminder from the BF3 times: That lead dev had said that they will not release mod tools for fan map creating cause "Frostbyte is too complex for fans". Humbug I say! Humbug!

Near sure that rhetoric started with bad company 2, it was too complex and needed third party programs etc. Just a way of killing off modding really.

@TAYTER-GUNbot support thrown out, I have seen no ricocheting fire in frostbite, apart from building pre-built modular deformation and terrain deformation, frostbite toll was too heavy, like fingers falling off of old bf games.
2002 - bf 42, 2004 (?) vietnam 205 - bf2, 2006 2142.(then 2010 bfbc 2 - no bots, no offline, nothing and they asked serious money loooool, they think everybody forgot obviously lol)
for consoles there was bf 2 modern combat which featured much famous weaponry like T-72 (I think), ZSU-23-4 and other iconic cold war gear that I missed in bf 2 on pc.
Frostbite destroyed coop vs bots, destroyed offline, also you cant create a game like a host. Bfbc 2 was the moment that Bf basically started degrading and you couldnt even play without internet verification. Campaign as bot replacement ? LOL.
Similar behavior was already in 1942. Vs bots you didnt have battleships etc. Unless modded. Bf 2 ? SP/Coop only 16 downsized maps by force to punish single player. Single player no weapon unlocks. Single player punished from every side. They slowly step by step increased centralization and control over what you can and cant do, always beating the cr@p out of sp.
BFBC 2 when it was coming out, did not say that there were no bots. Every game before it had them. This was a deliberate EA decision - since then I viewed Bf games as second rate not worth my time. Not speaking of money even. It seems like they always thought, they will buy and we will force them online like sheep. But sheep dont listen to a strangers voice unless sick.- Jesse1655 years agoSeasoned Ace@TomaSkTemplar I almost can't tell if your post is for or against bots?
Personally the fact that we will be able to have Bot Matches with up to 127 bots in Portal is the reason I pre-ordered the Ultimate Edition.
Yes I understand we won't be able to play offline at launch but they were eventually able to get the offline matches to work with Instant Action in Battlefront 2. Just gotta hope and pray they can do the same here.
