Although for now it looks like Battlefield 2042 will be one of the better titles in Battlefield series, what do you think is still preventing you from instant pre-ordering this game?
For me it is lack of some kind of offline mode.
Common sense.
Ill wait for reviews. Could be fun. Could be a mess that gets boring after 10 hours.
Mostly the lack of teamplay. Ppl mostly runs around cod-style without any tactics. Hardly no one revives. No teamplay with gadgets. Like the SOFLAM + Javelin combo in BF3, for example.
I really hated Battlelog on it's release but after some time I loved it. You could spend hours checking stats, preparing loadouts, checking missions, awards, ribbons, assignments, dog tags, unlocks, progress level of each class, progress level and editing of your plaoton and opening battle packs. But most importantly, a very detailed and complex server browser, where you could check your server/matches history, adding favorite servers etc.
Since BF3 I've really missed properly made maps for rush mode. Nothing beats an intense rush mode map. When the balance is perfect and people really are forced to teamplay.
The only thing that would make me instantly preorder the game is mod support.

Does eveyone hate EA?
I was able to be part of the testing stage a week or so ago. The game was practically unplayable. How do I know what the game is really going to be like? I will have to wait for Beta to see what it will even look and feel like. For real guys? You couldn't have given us a decent representation of what the game will look like? Gameplay footage for various systems? BF is known to be buggy on launch so Pre-Order won't happen until we see some gameplay and actually experience some gameplay. Your Beta will be a make it or break it moment for you, IMO.
@ArchAngeL-PCX full offline without sending them any info of my usage once I get online is where I start at. Offline coop, game creation, you having all the weapons and everything when not playing ranked online. No grind for offline. No cut maps from MP to SP.
If all this is not present, I can play bf 2 just fine, 2142 runs as well, or even 19 years old 42, which has best air combat of all bf games, so it is quite fun with those not too awesome bots.
