What the heck is the M5C Bolte Missile launcher for?
It says it launches projectiles that identify hostile vehicles. Yet they do not even do hitmarkers on a tank I got behind? Did I misunderstood something?

You shouldn't fire them point blank tho as they have a limited locking on capability. Like 20 to 30 meters is a good distance to fire them at light vehicles and you should aim at them too. You can also annoy choppers with them by just angling yourself to aim at helicopters and firing at them. You will see the missiles locking on.
A rocket barrage actually does 24% which is a good amount of damage to a tank but it's only worth taking a shot at one that's already in trouble. A Bolte trying to fight a tank that is at 100% is going to lose every time because its armor is so much lighter and you have to turn and face the cockpit towards the tank to fire at it, exposing the driver.
I think I've destroyed every type of vehicle with a barrage at this point. And hovercraft do indeed get one shot by a barrage now.
I tried shooting rockets directly at foot soldier and that didn't kill him, although it did damage.
All in all, I find rockets on Bolte pretty useless and I still stick to repair option.
You can use the rockets and still have the repair option tho but you can´t use any "smoke" option.
I use the rockets and its a Jeep, Bolte and hovercraft killer for sure. You just have to line up ur Bolte for the kill.
- @Zorieke Ah yes, it's slot #1. But eveyone is moving so fast, it's hard to pinpoint enemy light vehicle. And if I stop to aim, I'm most likely snipped or destroyed by tank.
haha idd.. .the bolte is a true glass cannon. Its actually quite nervrecking when driving the Bolte and you see people trying to snipe you and then you get stuck on a rock or something. =)
I have found the missiles to be effective when you can flank an enemy light vehicle or when you drive round a corner and meet a light vehicle, even if not all missiles hit the gunner should take care of the rest. I found that the angle of the Bolte and the range to the target is quite imported.
I only use the Bolte with a friend and with coms, it´s such´a blast. =)
