Here's my answer to the question of Anti-Cheat and EA and their Battlefield games.
Don't buy their games anymore. Why continue to reward them for their bad behavior?
I've played battlefield since 2002 when Battlefield 1942 came out. That game and the even better BF2 blew my mind and opened up a new world of gaming for everyone.
But. The last 2 titles as well as Star Wars: Battlefront 2 are such a hackfest, it's clear to me that they no longer care. Don't tell me there's nothing they can do. They could, but they won't. They are afraid of alienating "paying customers" with a heavy hand approach. Instead they choose to alienate their loyal fair-play customer base instead and hope to gawd that you still stick around.. Does that sound logical to you? How does that make you feel? I feel betrayed, simply betrayed. It's clear to me that the people at the top at Dice/EA are not the same as those who started this once-great game.
Unless I see them make CONCRETE AND PUBLIC efforts to combat the issue, I'll be playing other games., Sadly, it has come to this.
