It's already the 9th and no word of it yet? That's kinda worrying...
You would expect a huge patch like this would be mentioned more (and into greater detail) than any of the other patches before it.
Is it delayed? Is it less than what should be expected?
Rumor has it that Frostbite is going open source so they're going to cancel the patch and release the code and then everyone can just make their own patches.
The early April date has come and gone so until official notice, the April patch is no longer expected.
DICE used to deploy patches on thursdays, but my guess would be since 2042 is the dumpsterfire it is they will start deploying patches on tuesdays in order to deploy fixes or whatever before the studio is closed for the weekend...
my second guess is it will be delayed into season 1 with a note attatched to it saying something like " Hey we are so sorry but 2042 will be terminated, we are terribly sorry but you know how it is, please pre-order the next game as it is way ahead of sheduele already and clearly not a project in crisis.... we love you do not forget to pre-order now!"
