I spent many thousands of hours playing Battlefield 2142 and this is the first Battlefield game that I feel that catches some of that magic from 2142.I'm very hopeful to see the gameplay reveal this weekend and that secret game mode next month.For years they've been teasing things relating to Battlefield 2142 in Battlefield games. I'm going to lose my s*** if they say they're bringing back titan mode in 2042 next month when they reveal the secret game mode.What are your thoughts comparing 2042 to 2142?

BF4 was the best in my opinion. This new trailer brings back BF4 feels. Hope it lives up to its standard.

@VipeNess Also a veteran.. started with BC2 but own the complete BF series.Still playing BF4 as its still the best overall gameplay in BF. I just hope the 2042 game plays (actual, physical gameplay) like bf3/4 and not like bf1/5.

I would really love it if this feature would come back to the battlefield, that we can promote players that played that game for more then 10 years..

Started in 2005 on console with BF2:MC, bought and played every BF title since, I even remember the EA gun club which also included veteran bonuses. I think I was Veteran level 12 when they stopped the program.

Been playing since Bad Company and all after, BC2, BF3 and BF4 being my prominent service, i tailed off after the disappointment of BF1 and BF5 but hoping to get back in teh fight with BF2042 🙌

Agreed, they should bring back veteran status. Give us something to show our loyalty to the franchise. Been playing since 2142, took a break after BF3 and now back. Coming full circle I guess.

Time to settle back in on the Battlefield forum.

I'm not as veteran as others, I mostly started with Battlefield 1, but this one looks fun. 🙂
