We definitely need more Portal maps, there are too few maps and BF2042 desperately needs a refresh.
There will be no new portal maps.
There will be 1 new map for each of the remaining 2 seasons, after that this game will get no new maps.
There will be maybe 4 new weapons, 2 per season, and more porting over of 'vault' weapons.
2 more specialists.
The only Battlefield that DICE is 'All In' on is whatever title is in the works so they can start anew. They know they screwed this up so much they simply are not investing in it beyond the legal 1 year obligations.
Anyone who still has hope this game will grow or have continued support after S4 is going to have a rude awakening.
I played 8 hours of COD over the weekend and already have more weapons in 3 days than I have in a year with BF 2042. Sad.
